Executive Residency by Best Western Amsterdam Airport

Nice residential-style hotel in a very quiet area, loved the peace and silence. It's about 20 min walking to all the shops, restaurants, etc. Very convenient short drive back and to the airport. Staff super friendly and professional. I would stay again here and would recommend it for short business trips only.

The breakfast was not buffet-style served as I expected, it was rather limited with sugary drinks and plain bread and given to you in a lunch box, which you had to pick up yourself from the lobby and then again go upstairs to your room to eat it because the restaurant was closed, I did not understand these procedures at all and I do not agree COVID is a good excuse because there were only a handful of guests at the same time as me....

Pros: - Comfortable beds - Big parking that was free of charge - Fully equipped kitchenette - Location near the airport and the highway offering easy access for road trips - In a quiet neighborhood The hotel also offers breakfast and has a gym but we didn't use them. We arrived after the breakfast was done (11 am) and they let us have coffee for free from the machine.

Cons: - Cleanliness needs improvement. Dusty surfaces - Not so close to the centre and no restaurants nearby

+ Very polite and helpful staff. + We booked a Suite and it was very spacious with enough room for the kids to move around. + Location may be a bit off from Amsterdam, but it is a short bus ride from Schipol Airport - which is well connected to almost everywhere. The bus runs every 10 mins so it was no big deal for us.

- The early checkin fee. As per Hotel policy, 3 PM is the checkin time and 11 AM is the checkout time. Any additional time is charged at 10 euros per hour. I believe the hotel can let go of this rather silly policy. It is usually a small amount compared to the booking fee, but it sets in a negative mood before checkin - something that the hotel management should consider.

I love this hotel, I enjoy during the stay. They have a little kitchen which allow us microwave/ cook something easy! Staff are always happy and friendly. Room is big enough for two people. Cleanliness also in a high standard.

Only on trouble thing is you have to plan the transport ticket well. They have the public transport nearby, like bus and train. we prepare the 3 days tickets, so the first two days we have to pay extra for transports. It would be full marks when they offer shuttle even it is not tight schedule.

The large living area in the 2nd room allowed for a nice time in the evenings to chill and relax, alongside being close to a lidl for dinners and breakfasts that can be made on the stove or in the microwave.

The 20 minute walk to the train station every morning if you plan to go to Amsterdam Central got very old, very fast alongside the 30 minute trains made transportation take a lot longer than hoped. The lack of an oven made it hard to meal plan but wasn't the end of the world really.

Nice clean hotel. Comfortable bed. Excellent location very near bus stop (2 mins walk) and train station (20 mins walk or €1-€2 on bus) with connections to Amsterdam, The Hague and Haarlem. Small kitchen was good providing 2 rings, fridge, microwave, cutlery and dishes.. Supermarket 10 mins walk away. Quiet location and quiet hotel.

Not many restaurants nearby. Some at shopping centre 20 mins walk away. No shampoo provided, only shower gel and soap.

Room comes with Kitchenette and well equipped, everything works. Also it has espresso machine with 4 capsules, perfect for coffee lover. Room size is decent and bath room is clean and modern. Plenty of car park in front of hotel. Wifi works well with good speed.

Hotel location is quite far out and probably it’s a new development, we have a rented car so no problem, have not tried the public transport though. Nearest grocery or restaurant are quite a far walk away.

The rooms are equipped with modern amenities including a mini kitchen, fridge and a safe box, ensuring a comfortable stay. Comfortable bed. The breakfast offered was decent, albeit slightly expensive, and required prior booking for a specific time. The location of the accommodation is convenient, only a 15-minute drive to Keukenhof, as well as 20-30 minutes away from Haarlem and Amsterdam.

On one particular morning, the breakfast area appeared to be understaffed, as it was not cleaned up and some of the food had run out.

Was located close enough to a bus stop. Has elevator and kitchenette with oven and sink, plates, microwave etc etc... Large bathroom, hot shower. Comfortable beds, nice room. Had free tea, a seating area and dining table and fridge.

Even though the bus stop as nearby, the path you need to walk there is not straightforward. You end up walking more because you babe to walk around the building to get to the main entrance. Cheapest place we found. Unfortunately the bus there doesn't come that often, though it's not the hotel's fault. Coffee maker didn't work.

Awesome breakfast, excellent selection of food items but we were under the impression that breakfast was included in the price, as it would have been in the US. No indication was given to make us think otherwise. Super friendly staff; Monika and Abdullah were incredibly good at their job.

Pillows were too flat. Even stacked, there were not comfortable. A bit far from Schipol but good bus system to get there (only 6.50 euros, vs. 32 euros in a taxi).
