Very beautiful place located near downtown Tulum. The beds were very comfortable.

Beach club access is very misleading. The beach club is about a 20 min drive or a 40 minute walk from this hotel and they do not provide transportation. They advertise having beach club access but you still have to pay a conservation fee to enter the beach club area. Additionally the beach club has a minimum spend, so really anyone can walk into that beach club if they pay the conservation fee and meet the minimum spending amount. This was a very misleading advertisement and I am quite frustrated with it. We asked for a refund/cancellation due to it and they refused to accommodate. The main reason I booked this place was for convenient beach access but it was not convenient at all.

Lovely hotel in Tulum town. Spacious room (room 1) with small patio. Good breakfast with a selection from the small menu, helpful and friendly staff and four parking spaces in front of the hotel (we always found a spot). The added bonus is the beach club at Diamante K, but be aware there's still extra cost when going to the beach club. It's in the national park so you have to pay for entrance (415 pesos pp) + going by car it's 10 usd for valet parking while you're there. The beach club itself is gorgeous though with its own private beach that really makes it feel like paradise.

Staff were all very helpful and informative.

During our stay, on day 5 and 6, extremely noisy guests kept us awake late into the night, especially between 5.00am and 6.30am in the early mornings. Also note that you have rats in the ground floor gardens and therefore my wife refused to spend any time outside in the garden.

The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and to a real high spec! The staff were helpful with questions and the location was perfect for a good holiday.

The pool upstairs could do with a deep clean if I’m honest. Especially the glass around the pool, it was dirty and was mentioned by a few guests when we stayed.

The hotel was walking distance to main road full of restaurants and stores. It was a beautiful big room with great hot water and AC. Our stay included breakfast which was also great. There was a rooftop pool, they provide pool towels in room. There was always daily water provided which is appreciate when its hot/humid outside. They had a mini fridge and water kettle for the coffee/tea in the room. The beach club access I recommend you use since it was really a great experience.

No hotel elevator, but they had a bus boy help us with all our luggage. The lighting in the rooms was dim, needs bigger lights. Nothing else to complain about.

Super lovely room with kettle and great shower. Was good to have 2 x beds. The breakfasts are delicious. The staff were super helpful organising taxis etc. very clean. Lovely cotton sheets too. The beach club is stunning and you feel like you are in paradise. A huge benefit to booking casa agape. You are very central for all the restaurants in Tulum and we had the best food!

It is quite a way from the beach club and expensive to do a return trip. We ended up walking there and back to save money. It’s about an hours walk to beach club though so worth it and you can stop for coffee on the way.

A very nice small hotel (12 rooms I think) in central Tulum. Our room was modern, clean and quiet. Good value for the area and a short walk to the bars and restaurants. They are affiliated (owned by) a hotel and beach club on the coast. You can go there for the day but as it is in a national park the Mexican Government will charge you about £16 per person to go into the park. You'll need a taxi to get there.

A couple of things that could be improved. There is no shade at all (no umbrellas) by the small pool area on the roof. There must be some shade provided. The coffee at breakfast is not great - from a large flask type container. Perhaps get a coffee machine ??

Our stay at Casa Agape in Tulum had a lot of great elements. The location was absolutely perfect—central, convenient, and ideal for exploring. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, making it easy to find great dining options. The area felt safe, though we weren’t out late. The hotel itself has a cool, modern finish that adds to the vibe. One of the biggest highlights was the food—absolutely fantastic, especially for vegetarians! Breakfast is served on the rooftop, which makes for a beautiful and relaxing start to the day. The fresh, flavorful options made every morning a treat. We also really enjoyed our small jungle-style garden, which was nice and shaded all day—a great spot to unwind. Noise-wise, there’s a hostel across the road, but we didn’t hear much at all—just a little bit, and never too late or loud, so it wasn’t a disturbance. Overall, Casa Agape has a lot going for it—great food, a stylish design, a prime location, and a peaceful garden space. With a few small improvements, it would be an even better stay!

A small improvement would be adding a hook or stand in the bathroom area for face towels, as there wasn’t a convenient place to hang them. The only real downside was that the WiFi was out for over a day, which was inconvenient. If reliable internet is a must, this might be something to keep in mind.

Alex at reception is the best! We couldn’t have had a better experience with everything here. He was attentive to our needs and helped us during our 4 day stay here. Secondly, the food was delicious, they have a restaurant on the 3rd level and the cook that is there for the breakfast was also very kind. 3rd, they have their beach club 20 min drive from it and we were so amazed. The beach club is located directly on the beach so we got to experience this. The employees are very welcoming and that is my most reason to always stay here when we visit Tulum. You will see reviews stating how noisy it is during the night or how the food isn’t good. Not true. We had no issue with noise and we lovedddd our food! Despite bad reviews on booking or Google, that is why you should always try something first to see for yourself.

I loved everything about the property, the only thing I would like better of is the lighting. It’s too dim and as women we need to see for makeup application 😁 please in the future add brighter lighting features

Breakfast was good and plentiful. Front desk staff was nice and offered to help me when I was in need of a spanish speaker to call my car rental company. The pool area was nice as was our room. Coffee press, drinking water, small balcony, nice shower. The cocktails and service at the bar/restaurant was excellent. The location was perfect for wandering in Tulum. It appeared that bikes were available which we did not use.

Do not be put in room 6. There is some thing wrong with the water pressure for the toilet. It makes an extremely loud siren like noise almost constantly. The work around to use the toilet is a hassle. You use the toilet and flush, wait for the tank to refill, then reach underneath and shut off the water valve behind the toilet. If you don't the noise starts, softly and progressively louder until it's like an air raid siren in the room. It will stop and start intermittantly. Made for a miserable first night until we figured out where the noise was coming from and how to stop it. We told some people at the front desk in the morning but it was not fixed and no alternate room was offered.
