Viva Maya by Wyndham, A Trademark All Inclusive Resort

Pool, beach, our room was very nice. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice. Had a great time. Only nock is the food. You get 1 dinner per 3 days in the nice restaraunts, which were excellent. The rest of your meals are buffet, which is reasonable, but nothing to write home about. A little bland and repetitive. A lot of seaweed on the beach.

Nearby to the city, amazing quality of the night shows, great Christmas & new year activities, great food, very beautiful beach landscape.

The room was too noisy. We could hear the entertainment team's rehearsals at midnight and people talking and walking through the indoor corridors at late night. Early in the mornings (8 AM or earlier) we could hear the maids with their cleaning trolleys very loud.

Overall the experience is nice. We were lucky we got one of the best room with the ocean view (and literally, the ocean in front of the balcony.) Also noticed our room was one of the fews that were remodeled. The staff deserves all of the ratings. Customer experience is the best. Servers: Antonio, Isaac, Darinel, and all the servers from the restaurants! The entertainers and dancers are MARAVILLOSO! Shouout to the Venezuelan dancer, he is the best Dancer and Zumba Instructor.

The food is not the best. Be aware, it’s all you can eat but ONLY the buffet they serve everyday. Not the best food, but okay for the money you’re spending. You only get 3 reservations from the fine-dining restaurants and you have to book them, reserve, whenever THEY have availability. They don’t open everyday. But it makes sense. You can see they’re understaff on the service staff.

too noisy at the poil. no time to really relax. the idea that all travellers go to Playa to party is wrong. we went to spend time with family not to get drunk. May be something the resort has to have in mind.

This is the 5th time we have stayed here. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and they work very hard. I love the fact that the hotel is always updating things, trying to keep the customers happy. I loved the foam party in the pool this year, it was great. As they say at the Viva Wyndham Maya. The food at the Mexican, Italian and Mediterranean restaurants was amazing as always, although somebody had used our room number to book one of these restaurants as we found out the day after arrival when we went to book these, but this was easily resolved and we ate in all 3 restaurants during our holiday. We`ll definitely be back, as they say at the Viva Wyndham Maya Amigos para siempre.

The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the toilets near reception and near the trapeze. They are not always that clean

The food was great, the beach was perfect. The staff was a amazing. Everything was on point besides the noise.

Everything was wonderful, food, family friendly, cleanliness. Unfortunately, the security or staff should def hold to the 10pm noise ordinance. Out of the 7 nights we stayed.....we may have slept good one night (we even had ear buds in). They should really enforce the loud people at the bar screaming and yelling till 4am.

Definitely lots of activities.

Just as everyone else has said,. The "cafeteria" is not good. If they could improve the food there, it would be a great resort. The one thing we did learned is ... you can only make a couple of reservations at the restaurants based on the number of nights you stay but you can stop by the front were you make your reservation at 3:00 each day and see if they have anything open (usually it is the Italian resort) and you can sign up for that night.

The staff was great! From the house keeping to the concierge everyone was friendly and very attentive to our needs. Specifically, Raul and Joel from the concierge staff! They treated us like royalty during our honeymoon stay!

I can’t pick anything I didn’t like, if I did I would say the food selection during the buffet. Add more traditional Mexican foods as we traveled to Mexico to try out the food and we got American foods most of the stay. Again, this is very minor detail that if not changed won’t ruin the stay.

The location of the resort was perfect. It has a really nice beach and swimming pools. The rooms are a bit basic,but you have everything you need. The cocktails were good.

We didn’t like the food at all. It was savourless and very repetitive. In theory every evening you have “different theme” in the buffet restaurant,but we realised the food was exactly the same. In the room the shampoo and the shower gel were useless,really bad quality,so we needed to buy them in a shop nearby. Besides this things we enjoyed our stay in the hotel.
