Dangelos Hotel on Fifth Avenue

Location is amazing, close to all the things. Beach, walking, eating. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Small complex with little to no contact with other guests. One bedroom room is huge and great for our small family, full laundry and kitchen was a huge plus. Very clean rooms and grounds. We would be back in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the freezing pool, that was a deal breaker for us.

Pool was freezing, its shaded most of the day. I could not swim in it. Even my six year old that's not picky struggled. Could have used more amenities in the kitchen, nothing to wash or dry dishes in or on.

Everything really, this is a real gem. It is tucked away behind the Quinta Avenida. This is out second time staying here, because the location is great and the rooms are spotless, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is so friendly. They clean the rooms every day ( which is so helpful because we drag in a sandbox of beach sand every day). The air conditioner works great and the pool is pretty and good sized. The staff really helps you with whatever you need. It is a gated hotel with a night watchman so we felt really safe here.

You have to pay for the coffee packets after the first day (just FYI for coffee drinkers).

Okay so first, this place is beautiful, clean and quiet. Location is perfect. A few things to note...not bad but definitely important to know. Fans in the condos are remote controlled and apparently there's only one remote for the whole complex. Not terrible but when you want air circulation without using the air-conditioning it's a bit of an inconvenience but again not awful. You need to pay $50 pesos for a 5 gallon bottle of water which is cheap but still just be aware. If you need internet try to use it after normal hours. It's slow but much better after midnight. All in all this place and the staff are outstanding and so helpful and sweet. This place is super clean, safe and centrally located. I would definitely stay here again.

Completely equipped apartment ("junior suite"), super quiet in the best part of Playa del Carmen. It's big, has a nice terrace, full kitchen, your own laundry room with washer/dryer. Victoria and her team provide a great service. We already booked again

The internet is not reliable. If you are on vacation it wont bother but if you go there to work it might be an issue.

Second time we stayed there during our 6 months stay in Mexico. Very good team taking care of you and the junior suite has everything you possibly need. As I already booked a third time one can assume that I liked it there. Super central on the 5th Avenue, fully equipped kitchen - but in general more suitable for a longer stay

Third time I stayed in the junior suite of Dangelos. Perfect team, perfect place - big appartment with all amenities you might need at a super central but quiet spot on the fifth Avenue.

The location was perfect to visit the beach.

Everything! Larissa at the front desk is so sweet and accommodating. The housekeeper Rebeca was very nice and did an excellent job.

Just extraordinary extraordinary experience

This is such a great place. A sweet gem we found. Highly recommend it. Much better than the pictures and description show. We are already booking our next trip here.
