Unfortunately, I kinda screwed up and missed out on breakfast. Seems my phone and computer were set to two different time zones, I had a rough couple nights before and lost a lot of possessions... but overall,, I think the place is incredible, and take full responsibility for the mix-up that occurred, though hope to have the opportunity to stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone interested in traveling in the area.

It was a rough morning and I take full responsibility for my poor Spanish, as I was trying to ask the property manager if she had been the owner to whom I had been texting. It is what it is.

Casa Ejido was the first and only place we have stayed while in Playa Del Carmen, and thats 3 times already this trip. I wouldn't consider anywhere else. Its a little oasis about 15 min walk from the Centro in a quiet, somewhat odd suburb of town, but once you pass through the door its quite unexpected, a pleasant courtyard and a lovely, natural green space, that almost has its own micro climate. Theres a great burger place around the corner , convenience store, cerveza shop, good lavenderia, an Italian Deli and the big supermarket just a few more blocks so you can eat out cheap, grab some beers or stock up the kitchen and make meals in. The kitchen is pretty well equipped, better than many airbnb's I've stayed in for longterm. They all have large, purified water dispensers and very hot water. When we first arrived they had a deal with a very nice restaurant/contemporary art gallery close by called Evass, but sadly, due to the pandemic, it shut last week and may not reopen. Such a shame, the food, coffee and space were excellent as was the price. The rooms on the studio side, where we stayed each time, in 3 different ones, are spacious, comfortable and very clean. Our second level studio has so much light and air flow, with screens on all the windows. The king size beds are great, as are the pillows, and you get two each. The showers are big, and the fans and AC are good.

The wifi lol, sometimes it is very slow but that problem is endemic to the area, no matter how much you pay.

We loved staying in the Palapa king bed room. I've been to the Casaejido before and I love it. Clean, comfy bed, quiet, tropical setting away from the hustle of 5th Avenue. We had the best hot water shower of our trip. The a/c was great. Wifi in our room and in the common areas perfect! We didn't cook this time, but the communal kitchen is huge and well stocked with all the essentials. We place a high value on quiet surroundings, so the trade off is a 20 minute walk to the beach or 5th Avenue. You can catch an inexpensive taxi, but we love walking.

The bed was one of the most comfortable in all of our 6 week stay Mexico! The duvet cover was luxurious and warm and the sheets were sparkling clean and soft. The place was like a hidden Shangri-la after you went past the gate, which is what alot of smaller hotels do in Mexico. It had a nice basic well stocked kitchen with two burner stove, coffee maker, blender, utensils and dishes It also had a full sized refrigerator that worked well. There was a full sized table with four chairs The decor was dated and a little rustic, but clean and functional. We really liked having a 5 gallon of water dispenser on the kitchen counter. The plants and decorations in the inner courtyard leading to our room were beautiful. The staff were helpful and friendly. The TV worked good and had installed You Tube and other Apps.

The big step up into the bathroom.. at least six-7 inches tall. It took getting used to. Many older hotels have a big step up into the bathroom, but this was our first hotel room that had it, so it was a little bit of an adjustment. The neighborhood around was a little run down and dirty, but the actual street the hotel was on was good. We had to park outside on the street, but nothing ever happened bad at all to our car.

This place was an oasis of tranquility. We had one cabana in front of the pool and it was amazing to be able to have our breakfast with the nice warm weather by the pool every morning. The cabana was great, had a gigantic bed and was equipped with fridge, microwave, pans, utensils and a free potable water tank. This was amazing, as we didn't have to buy extra water bottles for the days we were in Playa del Carmen. With a rental car, we were only between 7 and 10 minutes away from the center and the other side of the city.

The room was lovely, clean and comfortable and the pool and kitchen facilities were great. I hardly saw anyone else so it was also super private.

It was a bit far away from the actual main Street and the beach, about 25 minutes walk but there is a large supermarket at the end of the street so it's not too bad.

The B&B is located in a beautiful and very quiet residential area. There are several good eating options close by. The building and grounds are very quaint and charming.

Considering the number of English speaking tourists visiting Playa del Carmen, it would be beneficial to have a bilingual receptionist. It would allow visitors to take advantage of the services and attractions the B&B provides.

Staff is friendly, good price, not very close to the beach but walking distance, supermarket close by, pool is great for chilling at the end of the day, amazing hammock available for relaxing, met some travellers using the common areas so if you travelling alone it might be a good option. Towels smelled great!! You can book many tours at reception but also the bus stop is close by and you can get buses to most touristic places from there.

Nothing bad about it, except for distance to the beach (but you should already know that before booking, so it’s not a negative side). It’s a 20-25min walk but it can be brutal under the Mexican sun.

Beautiful place. Inside is the pool, sitting area,hamac.A big lounge and kitchen.All clean, lounge is beautifully decorated.Room is nice.The big dispenser of drinking water Is a big difference.Hot water at all the time.Even iron and ironing board is provided.Air condition is silent,no unpleasant smell.Very comfortable matras and pillows, good quality sheets and strong WiFi signal. Approximative 800 m from ADO bus station.Absolutely perfect, will recommend it to everyone,and certainly stay there again:))

My room was close to the kitchen.I could hear the noises: fridge is quite loud, especially at night. Location is not central,but I new it,it well described. No window with the view: window to the kitchen only ( in my room).

Placid lovely and quiet even on a Saturday night in Mexico! We stayed there for one night between two big days of travel and got the sleep and comfort we so needed! Yummy healthy restaurant nearby. Would be great for a longer stay as the kitchen was very good.

Its not a Bed and Breakfast in the original meaning. At B&B Casaejido breakfast is included for a fee. No big deal. it’s a great place.
