Hotel Marquis Reforma

We were offered an upgrade from a standard king to a junior suite for a nominal cost increase. The suite was large and very comfortable. I liked the wide corridors to the rooms and the ability to use the hotel bikes for free on the city's ample safe bike lanes. The pool was a generous length for a hotel and allowed for actual laps (surprise).

There was a tendency for nickel and diming. We were charged for a couple extra Nespresso pods for our in-room coffee and, awkwardly, for showering after our swim in the pool (pool was free to use, so go figure) We found the lobby a bit tacky but that's just taste

We booked at short notice to have a family break in Mexico City to experience the Day of the Dead Holiday. The hotel was in a perfect location, close to many points of interest. The Hotel in general and our room was very clean and met our expectations for the rate we paid. The staff were very friendly and attentive and followed all the covid protocols. We would definitely return again.

Excellent location, easy to move around.

Service was not excellent everyday, somedays they prepared the room for the night and somedays didn't. I wanted to use the pool area one day of the week and they didn't let me because it was going to be used for a private event. I think those areas must be always available for people staying at the hotel.

Excellent service by all staff such cleaning staff, Omar, the doorman and Jhoan, the front desk clerk! The room was very clean, beds super comfortable and the location near Chapultepec park with museums is awesome!

I had some issues with the wifi and Jhoan was very helpful! My laptop could not connect to hotel wifi, but my wife's HP was able to connect. You need to renew wifi connection each day by restarting your computer. There was some generator noise at times in the room at night, but it was bearable.

The staff is friendly, location is great. The space is really nice and on the posh side. The rooms are well insulated sound wise. The bed is comfortable and the sheets are soft. I like that they have a nice bath 🛁 in the rooms. One plus, the only free thing is the gym which is pretty descent!

They really take every coin from you. If you want breakfast included the price jumps to double pre night. I found that to be a fine example of hyper capitalism which makes you question, just what are you paying for? Even to use the spa/sauna has an additional cost, in dollars. It's not worth it. So you get a nice room and bed but everything else is out of pocket. Please reconsider the cost to attract more clients. There are no windows in the room so it's hard to breath.

Very well furnished and spacious rooms. Great service; any request was met in minutes. Very helpful and polite staff. Excellent facilities. Exceptionally clean. Bonus, they allowed easily exchanging money up to US $50 per day per room, and the rate was better than any formal money exchange operations.

The staff was very welcoming. We enjoyed a spa day and it was very relaxing and worth the price. The location of the hotel is excellent. Besides a handful of overpriced 5 star places I think this was the best luxury to affordability stay in the neighborhood.

This property is a high-end hotel with a high-end price. We definitely liked this hotel as it was very nice and close to everything in the Reforma district of Mexico City. The staff was very nice and helpful with any request we had. The concierge Jose was great with his knowledge of activities to do near and far. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was a little overpriced for what you get. The breakfast menu was a la carte and I don't think it was worth 25.00 Better options are available nearby. The only thing negative was that our room was not cleaned after we were gone all day and we did not put a do not disturb card on our door, they cleaned it right away but we waited in the lobby for the room to be cleaned.

Hotel is located in a very safe area, we had the Master's king suite which was amazing....the balcony was awesome for morning coffee or just to relax and enjoy the view. I did use their laundry service which was amazing! Intimate wear was brought in neatly pressed and in a cute basket!

The pool is very small and indoors, not very appealing

Great location and the staff was amazing. Everyone was genuinely helpful and always ready to understand our needs. Room size is ok for a short stay and good value for money.

The staff went far and beyond however as family we'd like to have the possibility for our 7 year old son to use the pool at any time of the day and not only between 10am and 12pm.
