Nice location, a bus station ist right in front of the hotel. The train station is two bus stops away or about 15 minutes by foot. A Lawson is only seconds away. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by. The local attractions can easily be reached by foot. The staff is friendly, the room was big enough for the time we stayed. It was clean and quiet.

The elevator stopped at the front desk on the second floor every time. You want to go from the ground floor to the fourth floor? Wave the receptionist, as you will stop on the second flood, if you want it or not. Same goes for the other way. Want to go to a conbini and buy a snack? Wave on your way down... and up.

The room was very clean and bright, as well as being very spacious which is a luxury in Japan. It is conveniently located three tram stops away from JR Okayama (Ekimae). Green tram line, destination Seikibashi, stop S04: Yubinkyoku-mae. A taxi only costs JPY 1,000 and there is a bus right outside the hotel entrance with frequent buses to the JR station. The hotel also offers a traditional Japanese-style breakfast i.e. no cereals, scrambled eggs etc which was fine by us given that we were visiting Japan after all. And if you wanted a quick and cheap meal, there is a Nakau restaurant across the road from the hotel. Best of all, it was the cheapest hotel during our holiday.

Liked this location - not too far of a walk from the train station and easy access to castle and gardens. Staff were very nice. If you didn’t need a full room clean - you could have 2 bottles of water instead. Easy to use laundry and never seemed too busy. Okayama a great location for a number of interesting options - Naoshima Island, Kihikihi bike trail, Hiroshima as well as the city’s own attractions

Would have liked a second pillow on the bed to make it more comfortable sitting up. Otherwise all great.

The property was pretty central. It was walking distance from Okayama Station, Okayama Castle and Korakuen. It is close to a lot of restaurants and bars. I was expecting a pretty basic business hotel for the price I paid. However, it was surprisingly decent. The room was small, but big enough for overnight solo travel. Much more comfortable than a capsule hotel for not much more cost.

The carpet in the room was a bit old and had some stains.

Very clean and tidy hotel. We chose a twin room which was quite spacious. The room was spotless and towels were replaced daily. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The shower was always warm and had good pressure. The toilet had a lovely warm seat! Pyjamas were provided and there was a coin laundry available for guests. Breakfast was traditional Japanese style and quite delicious. The hotel was close to the garden and castle.

The hotel was quite a walk from the station although the number 2 tram stopped close by and so this could be easily used if you don't feel like walking. The view was nothing special but we requested a quiet room which was provided (not facing the street).

The location was good. Around 10/15 minute walk to the station. Plenty of food options within a few minutes walk as well as convenient nearby. The hotel itself was cozy and clean. Had all the essentials for me. Location, clean bathroom, mini fridge and kettle. I didn't try the breakfast. I preferred to go out and eat in the surrounding area.

No complaints. Everything was great. I'd stay again if I visited Okayama again.

Spacious room, very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, tram outside front door and 10 minute walk to railway station. Quiet and all amenities easily accessible. Comfortable beds and fantastic breakfast at low cost. Great value for money. The breakfast staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. All in all a fantastic hotel experience.

Hotel is a 15 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes walk from the castle and the garden. Tramstation is very close. So are various covenience stores and restaurants. Rooms are small. As usual in this type of hotel there is no cupboard.

Staff are friendly but English language skills are limited.

The room space is bigger than other typical Japanese hotels, my suitcase can be fully opened. Bath tub is so helpful to relax my tired body. Easy walk to Okayama Castle and the Garden.

Take tramway 3 stops from Okayama Station can reach the hotel, a little bit trouble, but it’s acceptable with this rate.
