Camino Real Aeropuerto

Camino Real Aeropuerto is an excellent choice for travelers passing through Mexico City's airport. The hotel's location is extremely convenient, as it is directly connected to the airport terminal. All you need to do is grab your luggage and take a quick 3-4 minute walk to the hotel lobby. The rooms are well-appointed, featuring air conditioning, clean bed sheets and towels, a wardrobe, safe box, TV, and even a cot for traveling families. The hotel also offers a variety of amenities including a gym, restaurant, travel office, store, and even a post box, so you can send a Mexican postcard directly from the hotel. On my previous stay, the rooms were a bit dated, but the hotel has recently undergone a big renovation and now all the rooms feel fresh and new. The check-in and check-out process was also super fast, so you won't have to worry about missing your flight. Overall, I highly recommend Camino Real Aeropuerto for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay near Mexico City's airport.

The only thing missing in the room was a fridge. The hotel is not that difficult to reach, but it would be much better if there would be some signs inside the airport when leaving the departure doors to understand in which direction to walk. We visited the restaurant for breakfast but I would say that the service was lacking, even though there was not that much of customers, we had to wait enough for our food (ordered from the menu) and some parts from the order were not as initially requested.

Great value for money and great location. The beds are amazing! That was an incredible surprise. Check in and Check out are quick and easy. There’s a bar which is really nice. A Mexican restaurant which is decent. Didn’t really get to have a good meal that night.

The restaurant/breakfast room is really ugly, with bright white lights, it’s really shocking. They should really make a small effort to make it look decent. And being an airport hotel you’d think the rooms would be better sound proofed! It is quite annoying. Thank god the beds were really comfortable because we did wake up multiple times during the night.

This hotel is in an excellent location if you have an early flight departure (or late arrival) from/into Mexico city, as we did. There is a covered walkway directly from the hotel into Terminal 1. The beds are really comfortable and the hotel is quiet (ie you are not aware of vehicle or flight traffic noise) - so perfect for a good nights rest before or after a long flight. If you arrive before check in times there is an option of leaving luggage safely with the concierge.

There are no facilities to make tea/coffee within the room, and although there is a restaurant and Starbucks coffee outlet at the hotel - these are expensive. Fortunately its a short walk to the airport terminal where there is a reasonable range of food and beverage outlets. Quite far from city attractions, so not an ideal position if you are planning this hotel as your base for exploring mexico city.

We had a great stay at Camino Real, perfect to stay the night before an early flight! Easy accessibility from Terminal 2 of CDMX international airport via a walkway that connects the building (no need to even take a taxi!). Terminal 1 is just a short walk across the corridor. Restaurant in site, modern facilities, excellent location! Indoor pool and gym installations were amazing overlooking the airport runway. There was happy hour and complimentary snacks for the executive floor. Laundry service available 24 hrs, we were able to take a swim at night and have our swimsuits ready within an hour. We needed an ice pack for a head bump, a nurse was sent to our room to assist. Everybody was very nice, helpful and welcoming, they even help me to look for a missing object I left behind in the room!

I wish breakfast was served earlier, for early flights.

I stayed in a room that included hot & cold snacks in the evening. I was so dissapointed with the pre-made platter they gave us. It was a 1/4 cold (I assume it was hot when they made it) ham&cheese sandwich, a small cup with 2-3 oz of ceviche, and a tiny piece of cake, about one square inch. Not kidding! I should have taken a picture. The breakfast they serve for this type of room is also limited. You're better off renting a regular room and buy your food at the restaurant or at the airport across the bridge, 2 minutes away; lots of choices there. The swimmingpool is another story. There are no sitting areas to relax. It is not an appealing atmosphere.

it's great for staying overnight for early flights but if we're staying only for a very short period of time & sleeping and resting the price should be a little bit more reasonable!!. It's great location to the airport is a bonus so it's a win/win for both the customers staying at their hotel. They spend zero expense in transportation & staff picking people up & bringing them back to airport so that should be a bonus for them & they should return that money back to us. The price of $178.00 USD overnight is too expensive. We paid 2,213 mxcn, we thought it was only $110 cdn? So we were surprised for paying that price?

Price is too expensive for overnight stay. 1/2 of the time we were not even there. We just went to rest & woke up early at 1 am to catch a very early flight. 3-4 hour allowance for catching an early flight also needs to be considered when booking a connecting flight. Th

the hotel is quite old, has gone through several brands over time. rooms are refurbished now and the bathroom is very spacious, comfortable and has all the necessary amenities. there is more than one restaurant to choose from for dinner.

they charged my card and made the mistake to take payment from me a second time at check in. they told me about this mistake soon after check in. however, it has been four weeks almost and i still have not got reimbursed for this. it is so tiring to take the time to call them over and over to see why I have not got my money back yet.

All of the staff were extremely kind, helpful, attentive and genuine...they were the highlight of my one night stay. The hotel itself needs a facelift both in the rooms and common areas so I found it a bit overpriced for a standard room. The bed was comfortable and it was relatively quiet even though I was right beside the elevator. The food and drinks in the bar were reasonably priced and good...service was quick and friendly as well. Overall, Camino Real Aeropuerto is a good place to stay overnight for flight or bus connections. It's located a fair walking distance from the T1 bus terminal and flight check-in so if you have a lot of luggage, there are porters at the hotel and additional porters at the bridge to the hotel

The room needs updating for the price charged

The location is perfect if you're overnighting at the Mex City airport... super convenient via an enclosed pedestrian bridge to the airport terminal 1, or via a free shuttle bus to/from terminal 2. I've stayed here a few times and it's a very good option. Good price point, friendly staff, decent gym, nice warm pool on the top level.

I'd be inclined to give it this hotel a rating of 9 or even 10, if they would only offer in-room coffee! There is a tiny starbucks in the hotel lobby, but strangely it opens really late for an airport hotel where guests are on the move early (the reception staff told me it opens at 8:30 or 9am!). So I walked the pedestrian bridge to grab a coffee in the airport terminal, and took it back to my room. To be fair, the hotel says you can order coffee early via room service... but I'm not going to pay room service price + tip for 1 cup of coffee that will be lukewarm by the time it gets to me. Note to hotel Camino Real management: for the price paid, there should be a simple in-room coffee service. Travelers appreciate easy coffee.

very nice place to crash as an airport stay. comfortable beds, great shower. there are 2 restaurants plus a Starbucks in the lobby as food options.

this hotel is located at terminal 1. if you land and takeoff from there, by all means, stay here— it’s close and very easy. however, if you land or take off from terminal 2, you might as well stay anywhere, as it’s not nearly as close as it seems. the 15 minute wait for the free hotel shuttle outside T2 plus a 15-20 minute drive OUT of the airport, into traffic, and around and back in the airport to T1 makes not as convenient as you expected. there is the airport tram option which is somewhat faster, but for some reason the hotel doesn’t tell you about this.
