We stayed in St Giovani so we could catch a train for a day trip to Bologna and we were pleasantly surprised with our stay in this very quaint little town. The property is absolutely beautiful and well appointed. Spotlessly clean. We had a good sized room with everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The property is a little bit out of the old town of St Giovani but we were given bikes to use to ride into town which gave easy access to the old town where there are many good restaurants and bars. The breakfast was also really lovely with outdoor tables to enjoy the morning sunshine.

The hotel is very modern and seems recently renovated. The rooms are very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly and breakfast is also very good. There is also plenty of space to park your car on the property. 25 minutes walk to the train station with direct trains to Bologna.

The TV in the room is a bit small.

We traveled as a group of four and had booked two rooms. From the moment we walked in through the front door we were stunned. Beautiful decoration with beautiful nature all around. The rooms are spacious and even feature a walk-in closet. All the necessary things were there, the room was clean and the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of parking space available aswell. Breakfast was also very good. Really great value for money.

Nothing - everything was great!

Lovely place in a perfect quiet neighbourhood, yet just a short walk to the centre of the town. Just a short drive to Bologna and the airport, too. Beautiful hotel with a large garden, good private parking and extremely helpful staff. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The whole atmosphere at the hotel was calm and welcoming. The whole experience was worth it.

Not the first time, we go to Boutique Hotel San Giovanni at least once every year. And we find always a very comfortable hotel, with very kind people and a good service.

Breakfast is good but could be a little bit improved

The property is located just outside of downtown, what it makes it perfect as a quite relaxing place, but just 15 mns walk to town.

The only thing it would be that is not restaurant for dinner at the property.

Very nice hotel in pretty village San Giovanni! Nice room with beautiful bathroom. The garden is beautiful and spacious. Breakfast was very tasty and the coffee was so good! We even asked for extra! It is a little bit out of Bologna town but if you want to have a peaceful accommodation, this on is for you!

WIFI was a little bit bad in the room, but strong on the terrace. Also pillow is very hard, my head hurt me the next day but this is personal opinion.

Clean, tidy, staff was friendly, suggested where to find best gelato in town. Air conditioner works fine, garden by the hotel is very cosy.

Room was not the same as in the booked room pictures. Breakfast could have been richer.

It’s very clean, the rooms are of good size, the staff are kind and professional. It would benefit them to have a swimming pool.
