Hotel Touring

Location was excellent. A few minutes walk from the Termini. 15 minutes walk to the Colosseum. If you are happy to walk, pretty much everywhere is within walking distance! I walked everywhere so can't comment on public transport. Plenty of places to eat close by. A Carrefour supermarket just a few mins walk away. Room small and basic but clean. Bed made, bins emptied and fresh towels each day. The bathroom in my single room was perfect for me. No problem with the shower size as some people have reported. Staff friendly though they don't all have good English (but that's my problem as I don't have any Italian!) I didn't fly until evening and was able to leave my bag with the hotel for the day. It isn't in a secure room but it was kept just past reception and I didn't have any problem. I always have a small padlock on my bag anyway.

It's not that I didn't like anything. I was happy with the hotel. I read that some people found the buzzer from the front door to reception loud. Yes it is (I was on the same floor as reception), but it didn't keep me awake at night (I wear earplugs). There is only soap provided next to the sink so take your own toiletries. No safe or fridge, but neither of those things bothered me, it's just for information.

I liked it all very much! A wonderful small and not expensive hotel for those who enjoy traveling. Being located very conveniently, it is not far from the train station (actually, it is easy to get from the bus, which comes from the airport to Termini), but also very close to the main city center. I found nearby small souvenir shops, many small Italian restaurants, and cafeterias, which are already decorated for Christmas. 10 minutes from the hotel there is also a supermarket Coop, where I bought vine and Italian coffee at a good price. very close to the building of the National Museum and the Opera House - you can stay at the opera until late at night. There are also two metro stations nearby, a post office, two bookshops, and an exchange office on the way to Republic Square. 2 metro stations to the Colosseum or a 20-minutes walk through the central part of the city on foot. Very nice, friendly English-speaking staff. Perfectly clean rooms, heating system working well, the room was very warm, I even had to open the windows. Very quiet place, the only time in the morning I heard the sounds of a piano from a neighboring house, but it was quite pleasant for me. I went to Rome alone, but due to the location of the hotel, I was not afraid to walk in a city until late evening. Air conditioning, small TV, perfectly clean bathroom.

It was a perfect hotel for a small stay in Rome, the staff were very friendly, and it was a very relaxed feel. Absolutely lovely and great great value for money.

Could have had an extra pillow and a safe would have been handy

We liked the friendliness of the hotel staff, the closeness of the hotel to main tourist sites and the flexibility of the hours (hotel door open every time we went back to the hotel, even in late hours). The room was nice too. The hotel staff helped us very much also by ordering a taxi for a good price (slightly cheaper than the discounted Genius level offer on booking com). Thanks a lot!

We didn't like the noise from the yard at random hours especially in early mornings. There was a waste collection spot under the window (1st floor by elevator numbers, 3rd floor by actual height, room number 13) where regularly waste bins were emptied and washed and it was very noisy especially when glass bottles were emptied. Also there were some mosquitos at night and we had no anti-mosquito device with us.

The room was very spacious and had a good air conditioning. The location is pretty good, as it is close to the Termini train station. Upon arrival we could easily walk from the station to the Hotel. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby, so if you get to the Hotel after an exhaustive day of tours, you can find a good place to have dinner very close. The location is also within a walkable distance to tourist sites such as the Trevi Fountain.

There was some dirt in the walls, which made us think that the place was not taken care as it should be. In addition, the shower was a bit damaged, so water would leak from the side of the shower head, which was annoying.

Nice hotel, near the main attractions of Rome, at walking distance, in 15-20 minutes. Kind and helpful staff, close to the Termini station, good conection with the airport. A lot of restaurants nearby.

Hotel Touring is located very close to the main train station and it has a great value for the money. The rooms are spacious and have their own bathroom, which is not always a given.

The bed sheets had some hair on them and the power outlets in the room were a bit wobbly, but all in all it was clean and everything worked fine.

We received assistance every time we asked for help. We were able to have very late check in. The location is the main advantage of hotel.

The place was great. The location is great and though very central, it was not noisy , -with closed windows. The room was simple, practical and clean , sheets, extra towels and extra toilet paper, everything perfect and they cleaned it every day. There air-condition was working well in the room, which is a plus +, as I stayed there the hottest days of the summer so far. The staff was polite and when I asked them to leave my luggage for an extra half a day after my departure, they immediately agreed, assuring me it will be fine, and they were more than helpful. It all worked well.

The toilet was always dripping a little bit, all day and all night. which made it irritating and every now and then you heard a loud noise from the bathroom, even when in bed. Nothing that cannot be fixed, I kept the bathroom door closed and it was all quiet. But they can fix that easily I guess. Also the free WiFi is not the best.. it comes and goes. No good for tel. calls, but you can use it for simple staff (like emails ecc).

Location was perfect ,close to train station less then ten minutes walk from hotel,not too far from center either,loads of shops,restaurants, cafes nearby,you gets what you pay for

Bathroom -shower head was leaking trough shower door,and all over the floor and on my stuff in bathroom including towels were completely wet,which was pain everytime I shower spent additional 20 minutes to dry everything out,but the staff on reception tried to help and swapped shower head, it did help a little,been told they will fix it properly following day but didn't happend,also cleaners never came to my room whole period of my stay there, had to ask on reception for basics.
