An absolutely unique experience staying at this place: a big square room with a high ceiling, huge corridors, an amazing view to the church and a courtyard. The bed was comfortable, shared bathrooms and toilets always unoccupied. Nice and helpful, local, English-speaking staff. Incredible value.

Not a big deal and part of the experience, but many guests don’t seem to understand that when they talk in the corridor with the very high ceilings the whole floor hears this noise because of the echo. Maybe staff should inform people about it upon check-in and in a suggestive way ask guests to talk in the room or in the courtyard. Wi-Fi worked not great, as it depended on the number of users. A shower-room needs a broom, so the guests can take care of excess water on the floor to keep it clean.

Very comfortable, clean and had a fridge in the room. Beautiful location and incredible building with spacious courtyard. Close to the train station and 5 minutes from a beautiful park. The breakfast was good. Check-in and check-out were very easy.

The breakfast lacked some fruit and vegan milk options.

It was a wonderful experience, in the center area, amazing and historical infrastructure, the staff was amazing, Phillip and friends were some warm and helpful, I really enjoyed my stay and in my last night it was a music concert. Definitely I will return :)

This was the nicest accommodation I stayed at during my 37 day train/walking tour of Tuscany. My double room had a delightful view over a courtyard and the rear of the Basilica Della Madonna Della Ghiara.

Great value and location. Friendly staff. Interesting historical building with a lovely courtyard and bar. They were happy for me to take my cycle / bike into my room.

The bed and some other things are in need of repair.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. My car had broken down just outside of town, and the staff helped me contact the garage and get back on track. Special thank you to Filip. The Hostel is located a wonderful monestry - it's very central and close to many great bars. Staying in Reggio Emilia and the Hostel (although unplanned) turned out to be the highlight of my trip. I will be returning when I next visit Italy.

everything ! From the location, to the lunch, the night concerts, the singer welcoming me singing in spanish while i ate , the corridors, the posters and philosophy , , to the vibe...everything!

I loved the fact we have our individual room, the garden and the whole building is historical and beautiful! The breakfast has a fantastic cappuccino and a delicious croissant! 🤌💕
