The room was clean and big, the beds were comfortable.
The room had cigarette smoke smell and didn't have a fridge. The accomodation is a bit far from the city centre.

The staff was extremely friendly; they greeted me every time they saw me and was helpful with my questions. The price of the stay was reasonable. And the hotel had a lot of beautiful Christmas decorations; I loved this.
The shower area didn't have closing doors, just a shower curtain to cover the area, so the water from my showering always spilled out to the floor, which made the bathroom floor as well as the bathroom carpet constantly wet and slippery. The bathroom also didn't have a proper door, just a folded curtain to cover it, and this curtain was broken. There was also a certain bad toilet smell that came up on the first time I used the toilet, but thankfully it went away. The room at first also had a certain "hotel room smell" that was not to my liking, so I had to open the window multiple times for this smell to disappear. The pillows I had was both so hard and high that I couldn't use them; I had to resort to using my clothes for pillow.

Is it very difficult to hang up a normal door on the bathroom and toilet? Why do you write that there is a balcony when there is nothing? The area is very unpleasant - all sorts of semi-criminal elements wandered through all night

made me get a Covid test at 9pm when I was already in bed, even tho I was fully vaccinated. Italian government recognizes the US cdc white card as an equivalent to the green pass. only hotel that has given me a problem in my 5 months of European travel.
