Abbey was great and a credit to the hotel. The food in the restaurant was good except for a hiccup with our starter, which was rectified satisfactory. The room was so clean and modern and spacious enough for an overnight stay.. I would stay again. It's also in good proximity to the shops.

We arrived about 6ish there was no one on reception and the door was locked. At dinner, we were given the menus but weren't advised of the Specials. Once Abbey introduced herself, things got better. There wasn't much instruction when we arrived down to breakfast, and the room was overcrowded with a large group who obviously were together and quiet loud.

Location is great , edge of town a couple of minutes walk to the local pubs ( plenty of them) Nice feel to the hotel tastefully decorated and friendly staff. Breakfast was good quality , hot and friendly service In a nice restaurant setting . Bed comfy Nesprsseo machine and capsules

room had no window to the outside ( window into the corridor with a blind for privacy ) reminded me of a ships cabin , small ( but big enough for a couple) , Small bathroom, sliding door. Could hear full conversations from the guests in the rooms either side so not very well constructed

Staff were fabulous, room was in the new wing so everything very clean an tidy. The room was small but very well put together with a large walkin shower and to my delight even an expresso coffee machine in too. Two choices for food with a very nice restaurant at the front of the hotel an a bistro burger bar at the rear of the property, I preferred the burger joint as the food was great and the football was shown on a number of televisions around the area.

My only issue is the parking as there are limited spots around the hotel front and side so only the early birds got those spots.

I have stayed in many places over the years but the Kildare House Hotel was for me the best most beautiful hotel I could ever visit the food was incredible the staff were just amazing and I would like to give a special shout out to Sabrina who personally looked after me and all the wonderful staff I could not express my gratitude and thanks for a wonderful stay you guys are very professional in your service so for me this place was without doubt the most wonderful place I’ve ever stayed in so clean so friendly but credit here to the staff guys these people put the guests number one if you ever get the chance to visit here I would highly recommend you stay and once again my thanks to Sabrina for her overall professional hospitality and approach to all of the customers needs but honestly you have to eat here it s personal interpersonal and intimate in many ways I for sure will be visiting again thank you all guys for making my stay so incredible all the best Phil

I didn’t like the fact I had to go home

The breakfast was excellent, plenty of options, just have to be aware the breakfast time for weekdays and weekends is different, we were given wrong information upon check in and had to wait for another half an hour to have our breakfast.

parking could be a little tricky as when we arrived there weren't space available and the rain was pouring. Also we had to wait for someone to open the hotel door for us and no one was at the check in counter, if no guests walked by to help you with door, you'll just have to wait. After check in, then we were given keys to open the hotel door on our own.

The room was nice although the window didn't look outside but looked out on the roof space of a lower area. Breakfast was very nice. I would say the full Irish Breakfast is a bit on the big side and maybe better to get mini breakfast. They also have other options like pancakes. They have two bar restaurants. "Soul" is a short order place and they serve burgers and that kind of food. Their "Classic Burger" is really nice. I also ate in the "Gallops" restaurant.

I would have preferred to have a window facing outside in my room. I ate dinner in the "Gallops" a couple of times. I would say the food is average. For example I had Turkey and Ham one night. It just lacked flavor.

I had an excellent stay at the Kildare House Hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and both the restaurant and breakfast were impeccable – everything was delicious and well-prepared. The location is great and the value for money is outstanding. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like about the Kildare House Hotel. Everything was cozy and welcoming — I truly felt at home. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and the whole experience was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back. Such a lovely and cozy place!

Location, staff, comfort of room

Breakfast service very disappointing, told to take a seat but no tables available so had to sit on a dirty table until it was cleared, then no one came back to take our order despite waiting for some time, eventually had to go ask to get our order taken but when we asked staff member behind the bar, they told us we had to ask the waitress ourselves, never asked if we wanted tea when taking order, had to ask and then it was quite a long wait for our food,didn't appear to be any supervision or leadership of the staff on duty, such a massive difference between dinner service and the breakfast service!

The location was very central to the National Stud and Japanese Gardens, Newbridge Silverware and Kildare shopping outlets. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of food was served and good variety. Had a number of evening meals and the food was outstanding. Compliments to the chefs and kitchen staff. Presentation and flavour of dishes were brilliant. The waiting staff were very engaging and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to travellers. Will come back and stay at property in the future.

The only minus to my stay was parking facilities. The propetiter informed me, they are in the processes of sorting this out. Also a lift to the bedrooms would be an addition.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lobby was nice and peaceful. Plenty of artwork on the walls and in the hallways. Room was spacious and comfortable. Loads of space. Hairdryer, iron/ironing board and coffee machine in the room. Selection of coffees and shortbread biscuits. 2 restaurants. Tasty pizza. Choice of burgers, chips, drinks, pizza, nachos. Kildare village shopping centre is close by. Dublin is less than hours drive. Would recommend staying. Short or long stay well worth it.

Limited parking but staff are helpful to point out an available car park just down the street.
