My daughter and I had an absolutely amazing experience at this hotel! We came to celebrate her 16th birthday, and everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, Tony and the rest of the team (I apologize, I didn't catch all the names) were incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive. They even helped us make the birthday feel extra special with thoughtful touches that she will always remember. The check-in was quick and easy, and we immediately felt comfortable and well taken care of. Our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and very cozy. The breakfast was delicious. I can’t thank the hotel enough for making my daughter’s 16th birthday so wonderful. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect stay!

Everything was perfect!

Patrick greeted us at the door with our baggage left to our room. Car was taken and parked for us. Great service of transport available to the off site restaurants. Breakfast was standard hotel nothing special other than the beautiful fresh honey from the honeycomb. Lovely bedroom turn down after visiting the pool with chocolates left on our pillows and a beautiful cake treat for our anniversary. Grounds are absolutely fabulous and so well cared for.

Pool area could be doing with a refresh. Tiles falling off and a bit mouldy. Outside hot tub needs managed as one couple sat in it the full 45mins we were there and they sat at opposite ends meaning nobody else could enter. Would only hold 4 people max.

From arriving at the gate to be greeted by a lovely gentleman and then to be met at the entrance and the car taken from us and parked and our bag taken away to our room while we enjoyed lunch!! A slick operation and done by lovely friendly people. Amazing greeting all in the first 5 minutes!! The food in South, The Palmer and breakfast were all superb as were all the staff working in both places and the lovely guy who brought breakfast to our room. The bedroom was lovely, very quiet and restful and the bed was so comfortable. The grounds are stunning and extremely well maintained, lovely to stroll around.

The only thing we didn't like was our lunch time in South. The lunch was beautiful and the view over the course was beautiful but the noise levels from a group of children left to their own devices by parents sitting at another table was dreadful. It was deafening and we unfortunately ate quickly so we could leave. It was disappointing as we were looking forward to eating there and relaxing for the afternoon. The lovely staff who served us were not entirely happy with the noise either. Not really your fault but should it have been addressed with the parents?

The staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. Food was very good. Beautiful accommodation and interiors throughout. Staff also very attentive

I didn't appreciate Room Service knocking on our bedroom door at 9am. There was a bad smell like sewage in our bathroom. We reported it on day one, it seemed to disappear but returned the next day. Both points above would be show stoppers for me. If I decide to return yo the K Club I would want to check out my accommodation first before being allocated a room.

Historic Building, interior design follows old English style, Bathroom was spacious, with bath and separate shower, Breakfast variety was a good mix between warm food to order and buffet. We had dinner at the both club houses (Palmer North, South Bar, I recommend Palmer North, reservations required). Golfing was great on both courses, don't book t-times directly, Hotel has discount rates!!. Reception and Concierge do a great job, are very friendly and helpful.

No real outdoor pool, only a mini-jacuzzi (fits 2-3 people max). But indoor pool was big!

The service, the warm welcome, the laid back atmosphere - nothing was a problem. Great beds, big luxurious rooms with baths. Lovely food, and on our second night we ate from the room service menu in the drawing room, the lads put on a log fire and left us to it. Fabulous. Cesar was an absolute legend, a man who obviously loves his work and excels at it. Top class, and he sorted us out with VIP treatment at Kildare Village, which we really enjoyed. I arrived stressed and sad and left feeling minded and relaxed. Thoroughly surprised by how good it was and will be back. Many thanks 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

There was a noise in one of the rooms, a buzz, we had to switch to another room in the middle of the night. Ordinarily that would put a damper on things, but it was all dealt with really professionally and we couldn’t stay cheesed off for long. Wonderful approach to customer service, really impressed on all fronts.

Your vehicle is parked by staff upon arrival. You are then escorted to your room by a member of staff. We stayed in the deluxe double room. The room was huge with a lovely view of the garden. The gardens and facilities are top class. This is backed up with wonderful staff making you feel comfortable from the minute you arrive. Plenty of breakfast and dinner options so there is a variety of options. We ate in the south restaurant with a view of the golf course. Highly recommend.

Nothing

Spa isn’t as nice as the rest of the property. Seperate sauna and steam rooms makes it unwelcoming for couples. Floor by the pool was extremely slippery even while wearing footwear. The price of drinks in the blue martini is through the roof. Almost €40 for a cocktail and a pint is ridiculous. South bar should be open as much as the palmer as there is limited casual dining Monday to Wednesday if the palmer is full.

What an amazing stay!! We have stayed before and were so looking forward to going back. Staff, building, facilities, whole vibe is amazing. But on this occasion we got upgraded to the Viceroy Suite! It was amazing, huge! There was a lovely four poster bed, a dining table that seated 6, various seating areas in the bedroom, a separate lounge, and a magnificent bathroom and very useful walk in closet! Many thanks to the staff at the K Club!

A beautiful property, building and interior design. The staff were friendly and efficient- despite being understaffed. The rooms were very comfortable. The amenities and activities on offer were excellent.

Reception and Concierge was understaffed. The staff in this area were over worked. They were efficient and friendly and endeavoured to carry out the work load demanded of twice the quantity of staff.
