Piraeus Acropole Hotel

Very good location - close to the station and the port, nice size clean room, friendly and nice staff. Nice to have a kettle in the room.

The WORST THING was that the hotel has got WRONG LOCATION on Google Maps!! We arrived to Pireaus around midnight, tired after long journey, and the Google Maps, when you write the name of the hotel Piraeus Acropole Hotel it takes you to another location, about 15 minutes walking further, where there is no hotel! Fortunately someone present there on the premises pointed us in the right direction, and said there were more incidents like that, people looking for this hotel at the wrong address. When talking to staff they showed that the hotel is listed on Google Maps under their old name! Acropole Hotel. That's not good for visitors, who don't know the area, and rely on correct information. The bed was creaking.

Location is literally few steps to the port with ferries that drive you either to Aegina town or Agia Marina (all on Aegina island) where I went but also to who knows which places besides those! We specifically booked this App a month or two before our ferry drive to Aegina. We wanted to just have a sleepover after our plane arrival and next morning catch our ferry. And we booked great place. Visible from the street, in the Google Maps, we found it at 3 am from the station of X96 bus that drove us from the airport! I even remember it is in front of Ikea store (apartment)👌🏻. So ferries are 1 min walk from this apartment and also bus station (which drives from airport) is maybe 5-7min far by foot from apartment. Apartment is new inside, comfortable beds even though we had 4 hours of sleep because we came in the middle of the night and left early for the boat. Staff was super amazing, an older man was that was working on the 6 to 7th Sept during night, and Im sorry that I doubted in front of him if they took my money from my card because he felt uncomfortable. He was patient and polite to me while i was checking. Turned out i didnt have money on card at the moment of expiring of the free reservation so his request to pay in cash was legitimate! And we payed of course. Sorry once again. Hotel is amazing and cheap even though it is on a great location, recomendations! And also Piraeus port has its own charm and also Piraeus place. Also, we made us some great COFFEE in the apartmant while it was raining at 7am next morning while we waited the rain to stop so we can leave. And we felt absolutely safe looking for the apartment during the night (mother and adult daughter). Recommended!

Bathroom maybe can be a bit cleaner. Bathroom curtains.

We stayed here for one night before an early ferry and it was ideal. Very cheap, 5 min walk from the port, clean and nice staff. I put off getting to the hotel earlier because I thought it might be uncomfortable and not a nice area but Piraeus looked nice and there were lots of amenities around, we were very satisfied with our stay.

The Aircon was pointing directly at the bed so we had cold air blowing on us all night and it was too warm without it on. Otherwise no complaints :)

This is a basic hotel in a great location adjacent to the ferry terminal and within 10 minutes walk from the suburban train and metro stations. There is a market next door and numerous restaurants in the immediate area. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is catching a ferry to the islands. The front desk is open 24 hours which is convenient if you are coming in late. I have stayed here many times and highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is dated and needs a remodel or at least a fresh coat of paint and new carpeting in the stair way.

Extremely close to the port, perfect for resting after a 9-hour ferry journey. The hotel was extremely helpful as I messaged them the day before our arrival, informing them we would only arrive about 4 hours before the specified check-out time, and asking if it would be possible to stay a little bit past said time. They allowed us to check out at 1 pm which was extremely helpful to me and my friend as we didn't have to spend extra money to rent the room for an additional night, as we would not be spending that night in Piraeus. Lovely staff

The room was a nice size for me and my girlfriend we had plenty of space. The property was clean and the lady that cleans the rooms did a wonderful job. Everyone working in the hotel was really friendly and helpful. It’s convenient located a few blocks from the subway station and the ferry. Also located next to Espresso yourself cafe which has the best customer service

The only thing is the window was left open and mosquitoes got in.

Excellent location for anyone catching a ferry to the islands. Ideal for a one-night sleep over.

Dated furniture, small room but very good value for money. Tea and coffee making facilities for a 40€-a-night hotel? You could not ask for more.

Last minute booking and late check in accommodated. Easy to find hotel from Piraeus port. Friendly welcome when we arrived late after a rough sea crossing.

Great location for the port. We booked for 1 night only to catch a ferry in the morning. It was easy to find and the room was good for our requirements. This place is obviously a good choice for travellers passing through. A short walk down to the port in the morning which is always an exciting experience as is the Athens traffic :) We travelled from the Airport by bus which is really easy to pick up outside arrivals and only 5.50 euros each. Hotel is only about a 10 min walk away from bus station.

Bathroom was very small, however was adequate for us for one night, typical greek shower which is no problem. Not sure about other rooms but anyone with mobility problems would struggle to get in the shower in this one.

I wanted a hotel for a night near the port as I needed to board a ship the next day. It is a decent hotel for a single night stay. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The taxi they called the next day Mr.Ignatio was simply the best taxi driver who went above and beyond to help me with my missing luggage in the airport and got me to the port on time to catch my ship.

The bathrooms could be cleaner and better.
