The room on the courtyard side was quiet en good, spacious. The pillows on the bed were very flat I so asked for some extra pillows and these were brougt instantly. The bed was very comfortable. The location is fine, some 400 meter from the large shopping center and 500 meter to the restaurants downtown. The rooftop bar has very limited foodsnacks. Car parking was for free in the streets around and before the hotel.

Except for the breakfast, the hotel has no restaurant. The only suggestion for improvement I have is to install some grips in the shower to hold on to when you use the (excellent) shower.

The room and the bathroom are spacious, the bed is big and confortable, the view from the rather large balcony is nice. The lounge and the garden are enjoyable hang out spots. It's rather a quiet hotel and the staff was very kind and helpful. We could even park our car in the garage of the building for a 15€ fee per night which came quite handy (especially as it was not advertised). The breakfast is not exceptional but you'll find what you need. I can definitely recommend a stay at the Flowers Hotel !

Details but more fruits to choose from for breakfast would have been nice and the room is missing a closed wardrobe.

the tried to scam me, by offering a room with balcony and asking extra money, although every room is with Balcony.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to the center, only about 10 min walk with a slow 5 year old. And 15 mins to Essen train station with the 5 year olds little feet. The shower was the world's best shower. It was remarkable. Price. Booked a week in advance and a fantastic price. If you want all the fancy trimmings book somehwhere else. But this ticked every box, for the price it was great!

I didn't like the concrete walls (my own opinion- made no impact tho) No shower cap in the bathroom. To get the most out the world's most superb shower you want to get the benifits of fully using it... So I just washed my hair each time.

Location a short-ish walk from the Train station but a chance to see some of Essen on the way. Check in fast and nice staff. Room clean, ‘funky’, free water, good air conditioner, rooftop area worth a look, bar area nice and breakfast very good - top marks to the female member of staff who was working her socks off to keep everything topped up. Also top marks for soundproofing- didn’t hear a thing, not the usual door closing of hotels, not a pin drop! Amazing :-)

Struggling to think …. Took awhile to get a lift as external people use the rooftop bar but that’s not really too much of a problem!

The location is very convinient. 10mins to Essen Messe by car and 10mins to city center by foot. The room was spacious. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok. There is also a bar and a restauarant in the same building of the hotel. Very easy to find free street parking next to the hotel. Airco works perfectly.

I enjoyed my stay at the Flowers Hotel, Essen. The room was large and very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful. Overall, it was a very good stay.

It is located slightly away from the centre of Essen and there were not many restaurants nearby. However, it is about a ten-minute walk to Essen so not a large problem.

I came to University of Duisburg-Essen in Essen, Germany as a visiting scientist. I visited this hotel before I move into the rental guesthouse. Is it a recently built hotel? The facilities are very neat and there is enough room size to use alone. The hotel location is very close to the shopping plaza. This hotel will be the best choice if someone want to come on a journey or visit Essen.

This hotel has only very basic things for accommodation. No electric pot, no carrier pedestal, etc. But it doesn't have much affect on staying. It would be nice if information or guides needed to use the hotel were provided as some note on the table in the room. If possible, English as well.

Great hotel, great location and very spacious rooms. love that every room has a balcony.

The front staff can definitely be a little more friendly but then its Germany.

The room was big. The room had a nice big, comfy bed. Nice windows. The bathroom was nice and the shower was good. I liked the desk and refrigerator. The staff were very helpful. Everything was a 10-15 minute walk away. The rooftop bar/lounge was great in the evening.

There was construction in the morning outside my window. That was frustrating.
