The hotel is situated cca 12 mins by walk from the central railway station and cca 100 meters from U-bahn with a direct connection to the railway station. The main attractions are also close to the hotel and accessible by walking. The check-in and check-out were quick and the staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, the small fridge was included.

The hotel should be more sustainable, e.g. filtered water stations instead the bottle of water in the room, a one-switch system for lights in the room, and sensor lights in corridors. install put soap and shampoo dispensers instead of miniature amenities.

Very good location with a friendly staff caring about the guests. I had ordered two separate beds and received a double bed instead. When asking about this issue the employee apologized and gave a separate single room for my daughter at same cost. I was never expecting something like this. The conversation from my side was also constructive with no discussions. The breakfast included is very good considering the price level. The room is a bit old, but the bathrooms renovated. All in all this is an excellent option in Hamburg when you consider location, staff and value for money. We will be back!

The location lets to reach many places of interest just walking thus enjoying sights on the way. The room is comfortable enough for a short stay. The breakfast offers a good choice which is the right way to start the day. The staff has been very helpful.

After a few hours of walk in the windy weather of Hamburg one could wish to have an opportunity to make a cup of hot tea in the room. According to my experience it is a regular facility in a number of hotels.

Great location, across from Dammtor station and 10min walk to central station through the city. Hotel was very clean, friendly staff, we stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms which was lovely, big bathroom with fab shower and lots of showe gel/soap etc replaced each day, hairdryer. Well stocked mini bar but no kettle for tea/coffee. Great breakfast with plenty to choose from friendly helpful staff.

Nothing not to like here but if i was being picky i would have liked a kettle and tea/coffee facilities in room.

Good value: you get what you pay for, basic clean & comfortable room with space for a suitcase. Ideal for a 1 or 2 night stay if all you need is a place to crash out and a good breakfast.

No door to bathroom in some rooms, which is odd. Even as a single guest it’s a bit like being in a prison cell. Bad feng shui. But asked for one with, which was no problem. A clock radio in the room is a nice (old fashioned) idea, but please reset them if a previous guest has set an alarm for 1AM. Also room was a bit hot. Needed window open which meant being woken by smell of breakfast cooking at 6am.

The location of the hotel is perfect being close to the Hamburg hbf and the shopping area of the city center. The room I was given was a bit older on the inside, but nevertheless it was very clean, spacious and had everything you'd need during a short stay. The staff is very friendly, professional and willing to help.

The room I was staying in got very warm and due to safety reasons it wasn't possible to open the doors to the balcony to let in some fresh air. This made it difficult to cool down the room.

The location was excellent, very central. The staff were incredibly attentive and very friendly. We were very happy that we could bring our bikes into our rooms (we were in Hamburg for a bike race (Cyclassics)). Will certainly stay here again the next time I come to Hamburg.

We arrived on a very hot & humid day (in August) and our rooms were very warm. There was sadly no air conditioning. However, its not a new hotel so I completely understand the lack of air conditioning.

The hotel is located very close to public transportation, and in a very central location in Hamburg. It is easy to get to the airport or the main train station from there. My room was rather spacious, considering it was a single room, and the bathroom had every amenity I wished for. The breakfast was also typical of what one finds in Germany, with a lot of variety and of good quality. The staff was also very nice and helpful.

great location handy to train station and easy walk to city centre and restaurants. Good breakfast, friendly staff. good storage for personal belongings. Fridge in room is always a plus and appreciated the complimentary bottle of water.

the room had no air con so was very warm. had to sleep with one balcony door open (couldn’t open the other one) and wasn’t sure how safe that was one floor up. no kettle to make a hot drink. bed up against the wall. no facecloth. power point by bed awkward to access.

Breakfast was good, with enough cereal, cold, and hot choices for everyone. Great selection of breads and pastries. Good bathroom, with shower and large bath for soaking!

Room decor was old fashioned. No usb ports for charging. TV was old with non English language channels working.
