Adina Apartment Hotel Hamburg Speicherstadt

Our decision to stay at the Adina Hotel Hamburg, was partly guided by our pleasant experience staying at the Adina Apartment Hotel Berlin Mitte last year. We were not disappointed, and had a pleasant 4-night stay at this hotel at Hamburg. Excellent location, short walking distance to the subway station “Meβberg U-bahn” that connects to many places of interest in Hamburg. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Having a washing machine and dryer is a big plus for us after travelling for so many days. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped with kitchenware, fridge, dishwasher etc. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay in a beautiful Hamburg.

The Premier Apartment we booked was spacious enough and well equipped for a family stay of 4 nights. Kitchen had everything for regular cooking, there was a washing machine to do laundry. Cleaning was really good. Location is excellent for visiting the city center and Hafen City.

The air-conditioner was quite loud. The access to the bathroom through bedroom which might be inconvenient if you are staying as a family. The unpleasant thing I would like mention is the situation during check in. The type of the apartment we had booked was supposed to be on the high floor, but we have been checked into the room on the 3rd floor first. When I asked about the higher floor, according to the room description,I have been told, they are fully booked and that's all they can offer. Surprisingly there were at least 2 apartments of the same type available on Booking, which I told them. After that somehow the apartment on the 6th floor has been found for us.

Staff were very friendly, for 25 euro I was able to check in early which was very much welcomed given I had such an early flight and arrived at 8am. I also had a late flight leaving and again for a small charge i could have a late check out which was great!

There was nothing overall with this hotel that i disliked and to clarify i would stay again for sure. My only small comment would be that the breakfast which you can pay for was a bit highly priced for what you get. I don't think its worth what they charge and a breakfast outside would be both cheaper and nicer.

We had a studio bedroom which was spacious and included a small kitchen area. The room itself was clean. The hotel had a well stocked bar downstairs with appealing food options. The swimming pool and sauna area was a great way to relax after a day sightseeing.

Several small issues, including no provision of body lotion or vanity kits and was told this wasn’t provided. There wasn’t any hand soap for the sink, although this was provided when asked for. The bed pillows were extremely soft, as a person that prefers a firmer pillow, it became very uncomfortable during the night. After a change of sheets, the duvet cover had some stains on them

The apartment was very comfortable and modern. It was great to have a washer dryer in the room. Much appreciated after several days of travelling. The bathroom was large and spacious. Didn't get the chance to use the pool and sauna. But it's great to have access to this.

Air con didn't work. So the room was pretty warm. It's great to have a little shop at reception. But, I would say it's overpriced. 2 small bottles of water cost 8 euro. There are plenty of supermarkets around. Just make sure to go before they close at 9pm.

We stayed at the hotel for three days. The room was very nice, it was enough space for us to stay with our dog. The staff even left two bowls for the dog's comfort. We didn't pay for breakfast, and we only ate breakfast once there, but it was really complete with different types of food to have. We didn't use any other facility in the hotel. The location was great, it was close to a lot of interesting places and most of the attractions were within a 30 min walk). There was an u-bahn close by too.

Pillows were a bit uncomfortable for me, however they were fine for my husband.

Excellent aparthotel! Room and bathroom spacious , kitchenette well equipped, sofa bed to sit down comfortably- mini flat instead of a small room :) Good breakfast. Great location, next to metro station and short walk away from the attractions. Bar and restaurant in the hotel.

Pillows (all 4) were very soft, maybe mix would be a good idea. Price is on the high side but from I saw this is rather normal for Hamburg - at least what you get for it is great! Bar and restaurant closed on Sunday, a bit inconvenient if you're a tourist and want to relax downstairs (but mini shop has a selection of snacks and drinks). Weird thing- nowhere around the old town any small grocery shops are to be seen! Closest supermarket is in Europa shopping centre on the ground floor (not the Eco shop, other end of the hall).

It was clean, great room, great location.

Very small things: be more sustainable when that’s advertised (room was fully cleaned even when hanging out the sign to only do the minimal stuff and towels were replaced even when not on the floor like the sign in the bathroom says), coffee should be replaced more regularly not just 1-2x per week, gym is tiny… those are very small things though I had a great stay.

Amazing rooms, the design is amazing, very clean, everything included inside even dishwasher and washing machine. Great view from the top floors. Ideal for a romantic getaway and for business trips, perfect location too. We definitely recommend Adina for the perfect stay in Hamburg near the city centre, we're definitely coming back here.

We had to pay 50 euros guarantee upon arrival, that we didnt know of, maybe should be mentioned on Booking? Also, fire alarm went off on Sunday at 6 am sharp, we had to evacuate the building, and this was finally due to some overcooked bread in the kitchen.

The location is awesome, just a couple minutes walking to the townhall and the port for example. Everything was clean, the room was big & we had a very nice view to the “Speicherstadt” site. Everybody from the staff was incredible friendly. We’ve felt very welcomed & appreciated the room. We even had a washing machine, a fridge & a dish washer!!

Although the breakfast was good I hoped for more vegan options, like vegan Yoghurt or milk on the Buffet, Especially because it’s 24$ per person.
