Mövenpick Hotel Frankfurt City Messe

Room was nice and cozy, but just a fairly standard room you'd expect. Breakfast was great, though it was the same everyday. However location was perfect for those visiting the convention center, as well as having a mall right next to it. Also a short walk to the main station and a short ride to the historic part of town.

Some staff had issues communicating in English, and housekeeping never re-supplies the complementary water unless you ask for them; other than that it was a nice stay overall.

Wonderful stay. Messe is within walking distance. Skyline plaza cross the street has everything you need for life, except on Sunday. Shocking to learn that most of the business close door on Sunday even in city center. The lady at check-in was extremely friendly and helpful. She checked me out during my last stay and checked me in this time, always attentive and kind.

I applied for quick check-out as I need to leave very early in the morning. I sorted out payment beforehand and received invoice. I was guided to simply drop the key into a dedicated box in reception and good to go. However, when I dropped key the next morning, I was still held up by a staff in reception given the reason that he needs to check if everything had been sorted out. It does not bother me very much because it only took 2 minutes. But I just feel the process seems not right.

Best possible location for attending a concert at the Festhalle. Also right opposite the Skyline Plaza shopping centre which had a big food court and a lovely restaurant on the roof (worth a visit to the Skyline Garden). Good rooms, very helpful staff, excellent breakfast.

The hotel unfortunately doesn’t own the car park, which charges over 4 euros an hour, with no discount for long stays - nearly 80 euros for a 2 night stay!!!!

The room is clean and housekeeping was good. Breakfast is nice too. Lobby restaurant offers good food with competitive price. It's got the great location near Skyline Plaza and it's near Frankfurt Hbf with easy transportation access to everywhere I went.

I am a recurrent customer and would expect them to offer some priority for hotel booking. If we come across exhibition seasons with great demand of room reservation, I would like them to keep my booking prioritized.

The stay was very good.

The hotel cancelled my reservation the week before, and when I called to get it reinstated they claimed they couldn´t see I had any reservation. I ended up calling Booking.com and they got it sorted. My colleague also got the same request to "confirm within hours or your reservation will be cancelled". He was able to confirm but I was on a plane and couldn´t.

The beds in the sleep class rooms were superb. The front desk, Mohammed in particular, was extremely helpful in assisting us with rebooking canceled flights. The bartender was jovial and expert. Breakfasts were very good. The kitchen staff was most accommodating with my unusual request for decaf coffee. An excellent experience. Recommend this hotel highly.

The bar could have opened at 1700 instead of 1800.

The fact that there was a gym and that the position was very comfortable

The communication between them I don’t think was really good. They made me pay the city tax at the checkout but then I checked my credit account and I saw that they had already made me pay it at the check in

Good location, very close to the city, clean room and friendly staff (especially by our check-out, very polite and professional to our feedback).

We did not have a nice check-in as expected, it could have been friendlier and more welcome than a very cold conversation without any further information if not asked.

Breakfast was excellent, lots of variety and good quality. Location was within waliking distance of the main station, but in a much nicer neeighborhood.

Our key cards had to be renewed every day since they repeatedly stopped working.

Very comfortable bed! Great location, close to the subway. A commercial centre is right across the street if you need to do something emergency shopping for example in case of a sudden weather change (true story).

The laundry service is a little expensive.
