Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Berlin Potsdamer Platz

We were given a choice of which side of the hotel we wanted to stay on, and we said we didn’t mind, so we were right by the subway. We took earplugs as we had read the reviews about the noise, and we were fine. The hotel was very clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The TV was big also. We felt it was good value for money. The location was good - only a few minutes walk to the subway which had good connections across the city. it was right near a park (with rabbits running around at night! So cute) and a bar too. I would stay here again.

The room was very warm at night despite it being cold outside, but we couldn’t open the windows due to the noise of the subway. I can imagine the room being very hot in summertime. The pillows weren’t very good. The rooms are only cleaned every 2 days. We were told this was for environmental reasons. Though we could request daily cleaning, we felt it was a strange policy as we did not understand the environmental reasoning.

Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast with a nice vegan selection, including oat milk in the coffee machine. Location is good in terms of ease of getting around, not amazing if you're easily bothered by noise and want to keep windows open because of the train tracks right next to it. That being said, we are super sensitive to noise at night, and with the windows closed, we slept well. We were right in front of the elevator and didn't hear any of the beeping others have mentioned (which I was worried about). All in all, it was a very good experience.

Personally, we found the pillows a bit uncomfortable and the duvet a bit too warm, but those are very personal preferences and not really much to complain about!

The hotel is located very close to the Gleisdreieck metro station, so getting to and from the hotel, even during the evening and at night, is very easy. The rooms are spacious and clean, and even those facing the metro line (which does pass very close to the windows) are fairly quiet when the windows are closed. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast had a very good choice of different and tasty dishes.

The room did not have a fridge to store some snacks or drinks, and no proper table, so writing/using a laptop would be a bit of a problem.

The location, as it is only a 4 to 5 minute walk from Dreisdreieck U- Bahn Station. The room was spotless, large, and the bed was very comfortable. Also, very warm and absolutely quiet. There was even a long shoe- horn provided, which was perfect for me as I can't bend down easily to put on shoes. Perfect! The staff were all very helpful and polite and spoke perfect English, which meant I didn't struggle with my little knowledge of German. Danke and auf wiedersehn.

I have nothing negative to say about this hotel, other than it has no bar!

Clean, modern and very comfortable. Location is perfect. Close to public transport and right beside a park. Quiet neighbourhood. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Nothing we didn’t like. Just a couple of tips. You can ask for a fridge for your room, which we did, a little portable one. Would be good if there were signs for the door saying do not disturb saves housekeeping having to knock and ask. Also, although the TV offers casting from your device, no one could work out how to use this function. But none of these are dislikes 😊

Firstly the staff was extremely friendly, especially the girl that was at the reception on the 25th of January in the morning (unfortunately I don’t know her name). It was really nice to be welcomed with this positive energy. The rooms are beautiful, very modern, spacious, beautiful decorated, and I also had a beautiful view to the railway. The hotel is also a 5 min walk from the underground station.

I don’t actually have anything bad to say, it was one of my favourite stays ever. I will definitely stay here next time when I’m in Berlin.

The hotel is new and you can see that from the moment you enter into the reception, the room was impeccable, big, cozy and very, very clean. The location was very good, you have a metro station 5 min away and you can get to the city center in 10 min. The staff receives a 10 from me. They were very helpful, kind, and professional. Overall, my stay was perfect, and I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family for their trips to Berlin. I will stay again, for sure, at this hotel whenever I come back to Berlin.

I liked everything.

When I arrived the staff at the lobby was very friendly. I loved the decor, the art and urban art in the corridors and in the room. The room was super clean, big and very comfortable. I also loved the effort to sustainability. And last but not least the breakfast was impressive.

The only two small things that would have made it even more wonderful were that not all the staff spoke or understood english and i only had american dollars that nobody knew how i could exchange

Amazing breakfast. Very clean and brand new room, very quiet, tasteful decoration and furnishing, interesting lighting. Excellent location next to a metro station. Very kind stuff. The hotel was brand new when I stayed, was only in the second month of its life when I stayed (January 2024), so everything was perfect. I hope it stays like that over time.

Lack of a mini-fridge in the room. But this is only a very small drawback, considering that everything else was excellent.

The hotel decor was bright and clean. The hotel was conveniently close to a subway station. The hotel was very quiet and the windows were soundproofed..

We were greeted with a reprimand by a main kitchen member of staff on the first morning for turning up to breakfast at 9:55 am as he said the hotel staff would be eating their breakfasts in 5 minutes. We were made to feel awkward in front of other guests.
