Arabel Design Apartments

The apartment was at a convenient location for getting around Berlin with public transportation. The room was as described, a well equipped kitchenette and bathroom. The beds were good, I slept on the sofa and it was also good. At first the room was very clean. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The only very small issue we had was concerning cleaning: There was no cleaning equipment in the apartment, which is fine for a short stay, but we stayed for 9 days and had no way of cleaning the floor (although this is also our 'bad': we didn't ask for any cleaning equipment). Supposedly it was cleaned every other day, but the floor wasn't cleaned, as far as we could tell. This is just a very minute issue, all in all we were very pleased with the place, and will recommend it to others.

Due to the noise in the mornings (garbage removal) we woke up every day at 6 am. Smells in the bathroom. Some utensils cannot be used (badly scratched Teflon coating on the pan).

Loved our stay at Arabel Apartments. Spacious for a group of 4. High ceilings, styled and ample kitchen for meal preparation. Perfectly comfortable beds for a good night's sleep in a quiet location. Room heating during winter. We walked daily into Berlin central, only a short 1km walk to the city sights and Berlin Philharmonic. Train transport a short distance away. Appreciated the same day laundry service as an optional extra and also allowing us to park our hire car on the day of departure for a short time. Staff could not have been more helpful. Excellent value for money.

Everything. The two ladies at reception simply excellent. They are polite respectful and above all never to busy to take time to advise and direct by showing on the map. The apartment gas all utensils cooking,equipment oven 2 stove top burnes greatcsize fridge with freezer. We were there 7 days and towers changed daily and housekeeping done daily bedroom huge bed clothes cupboard iron and haĺf size ironing board. Full size supermarket "rewe" outfside building turn left and 5 minute walk on opposite side to apartment. Also resturants and take -a-way 5 mins away. Also at same point is subway whilst bus stop for both directions at the front of building. Finally the manager was also very approachable and instantly onto an issue not to do with apartment but in relation to booking.com so he too was excellent. Apartment is about 35 min walk from Aldon Hotel and Berlin shopping mall. Apartment great place to stay to see all sights of Belin whilst enjoying all comforts of home

Great location, professional staff members, easy checkin process Apartment was clean & suitable for our party of 3's needs. Had an extra double bed in one room which was nice. Great kitchen + house cleaning, appreciated the complementary sparkling water + books.

Sound-Proofing - too easy to hear people from adjacent room, and especially in the courtyard/entrance below, amplified up to the room. Could easily hear people in the corridor too Garbage Truck - this has been mentioned in previous reviews, but there's a garbage truck nearby that empties its load at around 7am every morning, incredibly loud, woke me up every morning. No included breakfast - however you could ask them to deliver a morning brekky snack in the morning for an extra fee

The location is not bad, there is a great breakfast shop next door. It’s just ten minutes from the subway station, and about five minutes from the bus station. I will rate it 8.5 but there is no option on Booking.com.

Overall, it's okay, but the third sofa bed in the triple room is in the living room. The website and the reality of the rooms and atmosphere is a little different. In addition to the rooms, there are a lot of snacks and drinks, but you must pay extra for them.

Perfect location with access to city transportation system. Apartments were new, clean, modern, well equipped kitchen. Very friendly and helpful receptionist, explained everything and were very polite. Great entrance with card system, easy to come and go without any assistance form staff needed. Room service. Bathroom with towels, clean, equipped. Good thing in hot weather - a fan was provided. Water and apples also were provided free of charge, great service.

A view to the backyard where employees rest, smoke and trash cans are placed. The garbage truck very loudly every morning, around 5:30 a.m. were collecting them. Waking up guaranteed. Also air conditioner would be perfect, as we were visiting Berlin when temperature was around 30 degrees, so in the room where extremely hot, all the time curtains were closed, otherwise would not be possible to live in there. For further development to save this apartment longer so fresh and clean - there were no kitchen hood and we were cooking German sausages, pasta, eggs etc., so all smells, steam and smoke from baking were in the room.

The place is in the walking distance from a few museums, Branderburg Gates, Reichstag Building, Tiergarten, etc. The Mall of Berlin is also nearby. There are also a few grocery stores close to the apartment. And the underground is a few minutes away from the building. The place has a parking and is serviced. It's very stylish and it was pure pleasure staying there. The staff was all the time at the reception and always eager to help.

The only downsides were no microwave and the fact that TV had no Netflix, it had only cable TV in German... But it didn't affect our stay there.

Good location about 7 mins walk from Potsdamer Platz and apartments tucked back from busy main road so very quiet. 7 mins to Berlin Philharmonie concert hall. Nice well equipped kitchen area with oven, 2 ring hob and a small but good selection of utensils and pans etc Whole apartment spotless with daily housekeeping service. Supermarket 3 min walk. Good Syrian restaurant further down Potsdamer Strasse if German food not your thing.

Stuff were extremely helpful, and everything proceeded without a hitch. Brandenburg Gate was not far from the place we were staying (it took local Lime scooters about 10 minutes to get there). We're happy with our decision to stay in the Arabel Hotel. And we're certain to return.

If you visit in the summer, it can be a little bit too hot because it (Kingsize apartment) misses an air conditioner. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it.
