Living Hotel Weißensee

Our stay in Living Hotel Weißensee was really great. First of all I need to highlight how helpful and nice the stuff was. They were very willing to help us and make our stay comfortable. Thank you. The room was very nice, quiet and very clean, what we highly appreciated! There was everything you need during your stay - very comfortable beds, armchair, desk if you want to work. There is also a very nice balcony where you can have a morning coffee or just breathe some fresh air. What is really cool is mini kitchenette - very well equiped and really enough for preparing yourself a breakfast (if you are for example following restricted diet like we are). I know that breakfast are also available in the hotel, however we didn't use this option. The area is very nice, quiet and close to the parks and lakes. Also it seems to be a very safe district, so we felt really good there.

The only thing is localization - a little bit far away from the city center. There is no subway station nearby, so you will have to use bus or tram. I mean there is no drama, since it will take you circa 30-40 mins to reach the center and around 45 mins to get to Hauptbahnhoff, but take this under consideration when you plan your stay.

The surroundings of the Hotel. There is a little lake and a park just at the rear. The area is very quiet and residential but with a supermarket and the tram lines to the center not very far. Also I appreciated the kitchenette, very useful to cook something quickly, and the reception always open. I choose not to have hotel's breackfast, so I can't say anything about.

I would improve the ventilation in the bathroom

The sauna was a great perk of this stay, the staff were very kind and helpfull and the kitchen facilities at the room were good enough to cook a simple meal, which was very convenient.

The breakfast at the hotel was not included in the room, and the price for it was 18 EUR per person, significantly above the average breakfast price in Berlin. I understand it is a massive breakfast, but it would have been nice to also have a moderately sized and priced option in order to have breakfast at the hotel on a daily basis.

Terrific staff, genuinely friendly and helpful! Clean and attractive family room with enough room for people and luggage, small but efficient kitchen space and exceptionally comfortable bed. Beer garden with leafy outlook on the first night was an easy and convenient start to a relaxing stay. Tasty breakfast options cater for a wide variety of tastes. Would be very happy to return another time.

Lighting was very dim in the desk area. Would be good to have more central lighting as well as mood lighting.

Great location for us as we have family living nearby. It is a nice quiet area but still only a 10 minute walk from the M4 tram, and the Weissensee lake. Branch of Netto nearby and with a fridge, microwave etc in the room very handy for self catered breakfast on the balcony

Like almost every other hotel there are never enough tea bags or coffee

I don't typically like hotel breakfasts; they tend to be expensive and underwhelming. The breakfast offered at Living Hotel Weißensee is expensive, however, it is also probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. There is a great amount of choice and the quality is very high, especially the scrambled eggs.

-Staff was extremely nice, helpful and reactive with any of our demands -Breakfast was very good, varied and with a lot of choice! -Room was big, clean -Location is great if you want to be a bit aside from the city’s busy atmosphere, but still want to be quickly there (direct tram to Alexanderplatz nearby, or 20mn by taxi to Hbf)

-The room temperature - a bit too hot! Leading to sleeping with open windows, and therefore it gets a bit louder with trafic in the morning (we had a room on the street side)

Location was ok. Cleanliness also quite good. Some nice amenities and in-room mini kitchen was a nice bonus. Also sauna was decent. Did not have any breakfast so cannot judge that.

You can see the furniture and decor are very outdated, the ventilation system is old. An upgrade to the rooms would be certainly needed.

The room was large, comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for getting to the city centre via the M4 Tram. It was fantastic to have private underground parking for our car which we didn't use from the momnet we arrived until we departed!

Spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable Very spacious for a hotel room. The kitchen facilities were useful. Complimentary drinks much appreciated! Supermarket conveniently located just down the road.

A little far away from the centre but easy to reach by public transport - tram stop about 10 minutes away.
