Leonardo Hotel Berlin

Good breakfast, but see below. Good quick communication over queries before and during the stay. Bedroom larger than expected for the price (maybe designated for people with disabilities). Quiet (but see also below). Staff helpful and friendly.

Breakfast: Orange Marmalade would be a good addition to the preserves.. A second coffee machine would help, queues built up to get to the only one. Bedroom was separated from the next room only by a door: we could hear our neighbour moving around, occasionally coughing: made us aware that we were equally audible. Sometimes not enough staff at the desk - queues. Lifts odd: queues at times. No apparent stair alternative: staff told us we'd need to wait for the lift.

Easy Booking In with friendly staff. Breakfast was very good and a nice touch on New Year's day was a small bottle of Champagne and Chocolate with the Breakfast. Room was spacious and Clean with a nice Shower Room. Pleant of local shops in the immediate area just short of a good bar for a night cap!

The Address states Wilmersdorfer Str. 32 but the entrance is actually on Spielhagen Strasse which was confusing for the Taxi Driver who came to pick us up for the Airport. Other than that there is no complaints a good hotel which is a little distance from the attractions but we knew that and the UBahn Station was only a 100m walk away.

The room had all the necessary comfort including air conditioning, which is a real plus in summer. I also appreciated the mugs and kettle for coffee or tea in the room. The room was clean and also cleaned every day during my stay. The hotel's location is very convenient and on a quiet street. I slept very well and never heard any noise during my stay even though the room was facing the street. The U-bahn is very close, and there are several shops and restaurants nearby. Even Schlosspark Charlottenburg is just a 10 minute walk away. An excellent base to explore Berlin!

The breakfast was beyond expectations: abundant and tasty, perhaps the best coffee I had in last years in a hotel. The services are top - your room is on daily basis carefully cleaned. The general rules of the house are to be found scanning the QR code, not on print papers. Check-in and check-out (or Check-aus, as the Germans say) procedures are smooth and clear. Leonardo Hotel may be your usually place of stay in the Western part of Berlin, as it is well-connected due to U2 and U7 underground lines - 2 minutes to Bismarckstraße station. In a 15 minutes walk, you are in front of Charlottenburg Palace. Deutsche Oper is very near, 5 minute by foot. Wilmersdorfstraße is a traditional commercial street, you'll find whatever you want.

If your room is on the first floor you cannot use upstairs, but the elevator - it is somehow a waste of resources. Nothing to complain. Definitely, I advise you to give it a try, especially if you like to discover neighbourhoods, shops and small bars.

Staff were friendly and the hotel was modern & clean. Breakfast catered for all tastes and started early at 0630. We were in Berlin to attend a concert at the Olympiastadion. This is an approx 1hr walk away from the hotel but very easy to find as it is one straight road. Numerous restaurants and bars in the area

The beds were extremely soft which, although some would find comfy, were a little too soft for my liking. Parking is advertised as "on site". There is limited parking on a first come - first served basis, but as that was full, we had to park a couple of blocks away on the street.

I had choosen this hotel due to reviews. It is great place! If you want nice, clean, and QUIET place to stay it is for you. Room had nice size and bathroom was also comfortable to use. It had everything that you need for nice stay. I got room with windows from the yard, so please note that. It was quiet during the day (except cleaning hours but thats normal) and during the night. Bed was comfortable as well. There was a kettle in the room with tea and coffee (they gave new ones everyday). I dont have a car so I used public transport. It was easy. 1 minute walk to subway/metro-ubahn station that had 2 lines. Or 10 minutes walk for s-bahn (train) station. There is a lot of small restaurants and shops in this area. I can recommend this place to everyone that wants a stay in quiet area and this is your priority.

Everything in bathroom was ok, room was very quiet - we didn`t hear the neighbours. Taxi can easily stop just in front of the entrance of the hotel - very ok. Several good places to eat in 300 meters around the hotel - also ok.

There was a puddle of water on the carpet under the window. Either they cleaned the room badly, or it rained on the window. They covered the puddle with an extra bed. We moved the bed as it was convenient for us and immediately soaked our socks in this puddle ((. I had to ventilate the room all the time so that the puddle dries.

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and refilled regularly. Room clean and comfortable and serviced every day. Fantastic location with an underground station, restaurants and supermarkets within a few steps.

On arrival the check in process was poor to say the least - one receptionist with too many guests to deal with. However my complaint was accepted by the duty Manager who dealt with the situation well the following morning. This would not put me off staying at the hotel in the future.

The location was very convenient, very close to the metro station. Parking in the building. Great breakfast with wide variety of options and very nice and helpful staff.

The rooms deserve redecoration, you can tell the rooms are probably older or frequently used. Our room was designed for wheelchair users so for non-handicapped person a bit hard to use, especially bathroom (everything was hung very low to make it accessible for disabled people). Only one window could be opened and the air conditioning was not very efficient.

We stayed for a couple of days as a family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is quite modern as it seemed to had undergone major renovation not too long ago, so all the rooms give a nice an up-to-date impression. The breakfast room and breakfast buffet is very good, lots of choices, and because of its size it's not noisy or crowded. The subway station Bismarckstrasse is just around the corner, which makes it for easy traveling within Berlin. We highly recommend the place, we would stay again there.

The staff seemed a bit stressed out during check-in, so definitely something to improve upon. The staff at check-out was very friendly, however.
