Arche Hotel

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast with excellent coffee. Stayed before, very convenient stopping off point on way up or down to north/south. Secure car park in basement. Choice of restaurants in Vierzon. Quirky retro style won't suit some but for an overnight stay no problem.

It would help if the fridge in the room was cold, never had one that worked properly yet, but didn't spoil stay.

Garage parking was great. Central location, clean rooms. Air conditioning in room worked. Pleasant staff and perfect for an overnight stay. Restaurants very nearby. Supermarket nearby.

Panasonic view from room was very disappointing, mainly a view of a very overgrown and un-maintained roof terrace. The river and canal beyond are beautiful and probably a better view from rooms on the second and third floor. Toilet was very small, basically in a cupboard. Shower rooom was small but very clean. Overall the decor is very dated, I know it’s a US Hollywood theme but feels dated and tired rather than an intentional style.

By the canal with secure free underground parking. Very comfortable bed. Good shutters. Well designed bedroom but see below. Good breakfast in nice restaurant area. Close to good restaurants

Bedrooms in need of refurbishment, mostly decorative plus carpets have a well used old odour. This lets the quirky and otherwise good hotel a let down air.

Much thought went into having a movie themed hotel. I was fun. Location was perfect.By canal next to supermarket, pharmacy . Only hotel in that area

Room was divided into three separate sections . Bed. Toilet. Washing. Each with doors. Too small an area Togo I and out and also try to keep warm

Helpful and pleasant staff. Underground parking. Near to walks by the river/canal, restaurant on site and also others nearby. Pretty view from our window. Air conditioning as it was very hot when we stayed. All we needed was supplied.

Tea/coffee making facilities would have been a welcome addition in our room, but not found everywhere in France.

Having aircon as hot & free underground parking. Restaurant open on a Monday eve & nice meal, reasonable priced. The waitress was lovely & friendly, a great bonus to the place. So close to the centre. Liked the fun American interior, different!

Outside very tired & not an attractive building but don't be put off by the rest!

The retro hotel is very nice and located close to restaurants and lovely waterway and parks The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful Breakfast was lovely and fresh and great value for money

Rooms were a little run down and could do with a refresh but nothing that would prevent me staying again

we have stayed a few times now. location of the hotel is perfect. Very close to great restaurants. ideal place for a quick over night stop before another long drive the next day.

Nothing to dislike. clean, always made to feel welcome. good parking. won’t to some peoples taste but ideal for 4 friends travelling though France.

This hotel is in a great location in the middle of town; underground secure parking is a great bonus and we love the quirkiness of this place, so much so that has become the go-to favourite stopover of ours on our way south.

The towels were thin and frayed, the windows could have been cleaner and our bathroom bin had not been emptied, but this did not spoil our stay and we put this down to a shortage of staff because this was a first.

I stay here most years as we travel to and from Spain , the Hotel has underground safe parking and is situated in an Ideal place just a couple of mins walk from bars and restaurants . Vierzon itself is a not the most picturesque town I have been to in France , BUT the situation of the hotel is in an area where upgrading is happening , I like the place very much , for us it is perfect for an overnight stop.
