ibis Strasbourg Centre Historique

It's near the historical city center and the Petit France. The hotel itself has a small parking lot, and there's a big parking house right in the next building. The breakfast is plenty and delicious. The check in-check out timeframes are really practical.

The central air conditioning of the building leaves no place for individual needs. Above the door is a big old Siemens air conditioner, which is out of service, and gave some confusion before we found where the cold air is from. The bed is short. The bathroom really small. The toilet needed some persuasion to get things down. The water leaks out from the shower cabin. The bathroom floor is linoleum, which was somewhat shocking. There're some plywood surfaces in the room, too. For that big and seemly modern and professional-looking place these things from the '80s ('90s? '70s? cannot really place them) are... strange.

Room was rather small, but with all the necessary facilities, stuff is very pleasant and helpful, they speak perfect english. Location is great, just 5-10 min walk from old city center, Museum of modern arts around the corner. Good value for money.

Water pressure (7th floor) was poor and it took a while to get warm water.

Breakfast was very good, Soy milk was something unexpected, I was pleasantly surprised! Little Hot dogs were delicious! Location is perfect.

I'm 185cm tall, so, the bed was comfortable, but short. Like, really short. I only stayed for one night, so I didn't mind that... Cleanliness was very good, and that's the most important thing.

Location was great, the room was clean and staff was helpful! And they had AC, which was great, after coming from Germany where that isn’t a norm.

I would strongly recommend the hotel to invest in mini-fridges for the rooms - with the hot weather it would have been nice to have the option to put our drinks somewhere to be cooled. Also, the paper cups instead of actual glasses was not the best for me.

Superb value for money. Perfect for bed and shower whilst you are exploring city. Location is super close to center - 3 minutes by foot and you can start sightseeing. Super small room but fits everything you might need - and in a clever way. Car park right in front of the building (also very close to autobahn exit - no need to drive through the city if you come by car).

Was able to hear staff cleaning other rooms in the morning, people slamming doors (wasn't already sleeping though). Room really needs renovation yet they still do good job trying to keep it tidy (e.g. wear marks painted, shower cabin corners freshly siliconed etc).

The bed was really comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. My daughter named her doll after the receptionist, Diane who was lovely. There were lots of choices at breakfast. My daughter says it was "yum yum" and she especially liked the coco pops. She says she would like to stay in this hotel for a long long time!

None of the rooms had a bath so we had to have a shower. Luckily my 4 year old decided the shower was really fun although she would prefer a jacuzzi bath like our last hotel in London!!

breakfast was very good, even if poorer than used to be but probably when the pandemics will take off, the quality will get back to that time

the size of the room is rather small ... however, the worst thing is that the heating system didn't work at all. previous, during different stay, similar issue on different room. I informed the reception but nothing changed. Hopefully is not that cold outside so I could sleep well

Location is excellent, close to the railway station and to the historic centre. Staff were friendly and helpful Breakfast was really good with hot and cold options - good coffee Air conditioner was quiet and effective

Room on the small side - not a big issue

Beds are great, the bathroom is alright though it could be a little bit bigger, 2 people cannot be in it at the same time. The isolation was good, we didn't hear anything from the outside. The staff was quite nice

We asked the staff when we should ask for the room to be cleaned. They told us it has to be asked before 1pm but on the next day, when we asked for them to clean around 11am,they said it was too late. Tiny misunderstanding. The cleaning ladies also don't knock before entering which put us in an awkward situation.

The room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom suited me and the shower was powerful. I had breakfast in the hotel and this was good. It is good that parking is also available on site. The staff were all extra helpful and very friendly
