The location is in a central place. Especially very close to the train station. Walking distance to all tourist attractions. You can go to the farthest place in as little as 20 minutes. The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly. Especially Alexis is very friendly. You can leave your luggage while checking out and explore the city until flight time. The rooms are clean and convenient. There is an elevator and free wifi. The warm-up was extremely good. We were never cold. Heating is a big problem in many hotels in Europe during the winter months. Additionally, the bathroom is large and has pressurized water. We did not try the breakfast.

It was a little expensive in terms of price. The reason is because it includes New Year's Day. Also, the rooms could have been larger.

This hotel is designed in an original style. Each room is different. I had a lovely single room - Roi des ballons - on the 4th floor. I wished to have this room and the guy at the reception (Alexy, I think) kindly asigned it to me. I was really grateful, thank you so much! I absolutely loved the room. It is simple but clean and quite spacious (I was suprised) and had everything I needed for a short stay in Strasbourg. Wifi also worked very well. The hotel is located close to the railway station. Not a nicest area, as in any city, but nothing dramatic. I came by/left with the bus from the Frankfurt airport and the bus stop was just 3 minutes walk from the hotel, which was great. There is a rather cheap bakery right opposite the hotel, it is convenient for breakfast. Breakfast is also offered at the hotel but it is 12 euro (I think) and it makes sense for people eating more than I do in the morning. There are many other bakeries, restaurants and shops in the streets around, as well as in the railway station and, of course, in the centre of Strasbourg. The centre can be easily reached on foot within cca 15 minutes, there is also good connection by buses/trams. Overall, I was very happy with hotel Graffalgar and I will certainly try to book a room there again during my next trip to Strasbourg.

It would be nice to have a fridge in the room but no big problem with that.

A solid 10 out of 10 for this amazing place! A fabulous 'hotel with a truly unique feel to it and equally wonderful staff; a huge THANKS to Christian, Laetitia & Clementine who made our stay truly super. I can't say enough about how the hotel exceeded expectations in every respect. It's ideally located just a stone's throw from the station, a short walk to Petit Paris and close to a number of tram stops. As for the rooms - they will blow your mind! Each one has artwork that's done by a different artist. Reasonably spacious with comfortable beds and there's a lovely vibe throughout the hotel too. A super breakfast in the adjoining cafe again staffed by super people. I've already recommended this place to several friends and I will certainly be going back.

The decor stood out a mile on the listing so it was a definite choice for our stopover from the UK to Tuscany. We’d been told that parking wasn’t available, no biggie as there is parking (Parking Sainte-Aurélie) 100m away, which was €20 - it’s height restricted. Hotel is really cool, rooms all decorated brilliantly. Furniture is basic but funky, shower was excellent. Didn’t spot a fridge or kettle in our room. There a great bar opposite and you’re just minutes from the old town and shops.

We visited when it was 33 degrees and the lack of air conditioning could be a deal breaker for some; we handled it by using the supplied fans and ice packs, but it was still really stuffy.

A good basic room, lift and facilities excellent. Location is an easy walk for access to 'Petite France', the rail station, and tram way. Good Local Restaurants next door and across the street. Its a noisy active social environment but tolerable and quiet once the evenings entertainments are over. WiFi was strong and reliable.

The WiFi has a feature that prevents logging into two devices in at the same time (e.g. PC and mobile). You can use one device but you need to disconnect before using a second device.

My kids and I loved the graffiti art in the rooms and rest of the hotel. Amazing to look at. It was super clean and comfortable beds. Showers have great water pressure. Good breakfast buffet available for a reasonably cost. Kids are discounted . Very close to the centre city .

Only little issue was there us no air conditioning in the room . It was very hot and the fans provided didn’t provide any cooling in the rooms. Nothing major as we only stayed one night but could become uncomfortable if you stay more than one night in sumner.

Located in between the train station and Strasbourg center. Very convenient because we were traveling with the train. Breakfast was really good and vegetarian. Employees are helpful and friendly. Love the efficient layout of the hotel room where our son has a separate bedroom but still in the same hotel room as we are.

It is noisy outside in the evening and it's not the cozy kind. People shout and it sounded like they were fighting but inside the hotel, it feels safe. Just make sure to bring your earplugs!

Breakfast was good inside the hotel the waiter was extremely nice and helpful. The front desk Alexis was an amazing person very helpful sweet and went out of his way to show me where I needed to go and see and helped me get train tickets to go to another close by city and showed me where the attractions were and how to get around. Cannot say enough nice things about him. He was excellent and super helpful and courteous.

This is an original and arty place - the contemporary artwork everywhere is very varied, and certainly makes for a memorable stay! My room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet at night and I slept well. The staff at reception were friendly, and the breakfast buffet was good value. The location for the Christmas markets was excellent - a short walk into town, but away from the noise and bells in the centre!

I think that my (single) room was overpriced for the size - it was quite small, and breakfast wasn't included. There was no tea/coffee-making in the room.

I just love the style of the Hotel! Also, It is a under 5 minute walk from the train station AND a 5 minute walk to the inner city. Its PERFECT. Also nice Restaurants directly in the vicinity!

Between the Park of the trainstation and the Hotel one feels not entirely save, but its always the case that areas around train stations are the most "criminal".
