Citadines Eurometropole Strasbourg

the stay at Citadines hotel was a very pleasant one. the rooms are large and equipped with everything you need. cleanliness is at a high level, both in the room and in the common areas of the hotel. I really liked the parking lot which had 4 places for electric cars, the pool and the spa area are nice and at the time I visited there were only a few people. the distance by car to the center was between 10-15 minutes and I easily parked at P2 Sebastopol. I will definitely return with pleasure to this hotel.

everything was perfect, I would say that the temperature of the water in the pool could be a little higher and the room cleaning service should be offered every 2-3 days instead of 6 as it is currently.

The apartment is modern, very new, and clean with all the necessary furniture and equipment. The size is exceptional and improves the quality of the stay. It was pleasantly designed with USB plugs for devices and extensive lighting options. There is a dining area and a comfortable armchair for relaxing. The kitchenette was excellent, it had all the equipment and utensils we needed. The bathroom was large, clean, and spacious. The air conditioning was a welcome relief and very effective. The spa area and facilities were excellent, and we most enjoyed them, we never found it overcrowded, but apparently, it depends on when you choose to go. However, we always had space and access to the wonderful pool, sauna, and Hamam. The parking garage is a good feature and allows for convenient, safe access to your car if you are driving. There is a supermarket very close by - a 3-minute walk. The dining ear and reception were also attractive, but we did not make much use of them. Access to all areas is with the key card, which gives a feeling of safety and security.

The area is quite far from central Strasbourg and does not seem to be in the best part of town, though it doesn't feel unsafe. We had a car, so we used that to get everywhere. The area did not feel very accessible - we didn't use public transport from there; we drove to the Rotonde station, which has parking, to get into central Strasbourg. There is not really any view from the large windows because, once again, the area is not particularly interesting.

I was very disappointed that they are now charging guests for the use of the swimming pool and spa when it used to be included in the price of the room. It is quite far from Strasbourg city centre and EU institutions.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We had a room with a small kitchen area, so we cooked for ourselves, which was really useful. The swimming pool and spa were so lovely and we enjoyed relaxing in the bar area for coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening. Would definitely return if in Strasbourg again.

Having to specify a time to use the pool/spa was a little annoying, although I understand why it is done. The bar area was closed one evening for a private function, this wasn't advertised in advance, we would have gone out if we had realised. Having said that, the restaurant manager was really helpful and found us a table. The hotel is a few miles out of town, so something to be aware of, as you do need a car, or be prepared to use public transport.

Very spacious bedroom and living room (even after pulling out the sofabed). Its been long that I have seen this spacious bathroom and the shower. Lots of wardrobes, no shortage of storage space. Outside space/open balcony was nice too. Nice parking place free of charge. Intermarche, Lidl, McDonald's, fuel station across the road.. Staff was welcoming and nice to speak to. Worth repeating when in Strasbourg again.

Nothing much but it seems maintenance needs some attention. It seems it is a new construction but the sofa was torn in 2 places, one was taped and another tear was left open. Some stains on the living room floor could have been attended to.

modern new hotel with large room and great shower room. good recent furniture and lots of space and clean plenty of power sockets and usb ports. liked the kitchenette too which enabled us to have tea in bed in the morning and made to how we like it. great Boulanger pattiserie at junction of Rue D’Oberhausbergen & Allée De L’Euro (10 minute walk) really tidy and secure underground car park with plenty of space to avoid other drivers damaging your car.

a little distant from the centre of Strasbourg (but we knew this when we booked) and a 17 minute walk to Tram A taking approx 20 minutes to the centre (35 minutes overall). But you could always drive in and park at numerous car parks.

The room cleanliness was spotless. Some reaviews mention that they don't change towels but you could just leave them out of the room and request new ones from the reception.

The location. Although it is perfect for light sleepers as it is located in a quiet area (and also we felt very safe), you need to get an uber in order to go to the centre in 10-15 minutes and not 40 minutes by bus. Also it was even farther from the EU institutions so we ended up spending a lot of money on Ubers. If you have time to take the bus though that would't be a problem.

Perfect modern hotel in every way. We love quality of room in general, touch of design, linen, bed,everything. Restaurant is great for dinner with wine on terrace - prices are very reasonable and waiters are lovely. Bar offers nice cocktails, underground parking have lot of space, couple of supermarkets are across the street.

Only breakfast would be improved. Coffee form machine are watery, hot dishes are limited with two types of untasty sausages, bland omelette and bacon (we not eat it). Cold cuts are ok, but its not enough for such great hotel.

Very good hotel, with excellent facilities (spa pool, sauna, Turkish bath...). The hotel has an underground garage that is free of charge. Breakfast very good. The room was tidy, but I found small stains on the sheets. I only stayed one night, so I didn't have time to enjoy all the facilities, but the hotel is definitely to be recommended. The room was with nice balcony.

The only drawback is the location, outside the city, so for people without a car, it is necessary to use other forms of transportation (taxi, tram, bus...). TV is big, but chanels was mostly on French, few on German but not any on English.

We were there for a romantic relaxed weekend. We felt there has been an intelligent investment on what really counts for the customer, in comparison with other less modern hotels. We enjoyed the pool (heated! with whirlpool!), the breakfast until late, the bike rental, the included parking, the king size bed with different pillows, the ironing set in the room, the water pressure in the shower, the easy temperature management, the balcony for the smokers. Plus, the staff had always a extra smile for us… we really couldn’t ask for more.

One little note: we could use the gym sooner in the morning if it was open before breakfast... But we had no schedule, so it was not a big deal as breakfast time was also extended :)
