Everything was great and exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, with a comfy bed, travel cot set up on arrival with bedding too and a bath in the bathroom which was very welcome after a day of traveling. Simona and Alberto were fantastic hosts, nothing seemed too much for them and we felt very welcome. We were able to relax outside on arrival and our toddler could run around safely without us feeling like we were disturbing anyone. The evening meal and breakfast were fantastic with one gluten free and one one-year old guest both catered for with ease. Would recommend this place instantly and we will definitely return if we are traveling from Calais to other parts of France again as this was a great and convenient stopover.

Alberto and Simona were very welcoming and accommodating. Lovely spacious room. Clean and tidy. Tea/coffee making/lounge area outside bedroom. Good continental breakfast with the added bonus of homemade cake and jam. House is set in a well-kept spacious garden and it was lovely having tea, coffee and cake on arrival sitting outside on the patio. Only a 5 min walk to catch the bus to Rouen with a regular bus service so we didn't need to try to drive in and find parking.

No restaurant within walking distance of the accommodation and the nearest restaurant we could find open (we arrived on a Monday) was pretty mediocre. In hindsight, it would have been better to have booked an evening meal for our first night with the hosts as all the reviews say their food is delicious!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful experience and a memorable stay at this property. Our lovely host couple, Alberto and Simona were so helpful and pleasant to communicate with from the beginning of our reservation. We had a fantastic 3 nights over the Christmas break. Our dinners were home cooked Italian meal and served with great wine. It was so nice that we didn't have to go into town for dinner. We had a great time in their cozy home and parking was a big bonus. It is in a quiet neighborhood and bus stop is in within walking distance. We felt welcomed and they went above and beyond to take care of their guests.

Nice quiet location, very close to main route to Calais, after traveling all day, it was nice that they provided a meal in the evening with wine, so you don't have to go out, you have to request this and pay extra. Alberto and Simona greeted us at the door, they spoke adequate English, always appreciated. Breakfast was a simple affair, usual Cereals/Fruit/Yogurt/Bread/Ham/Cheese and two chunks of Cake to wrap for the onward journey..

For me personally, and i do understand expenses, but some heating in the room would have been nice for the end of October if only on arrival and for showering...would pay a little extra for this.

We would rate Alberto and Simona’s home as outstanding. The location is great being in a quiet suburb of Rouen with very easy access from the A28. On arrival we were greeted warmly and offered a drink to enjoy in their tranquil garden. Our ground level room was spacious and immaculately clean. We’d opted to have an evening meal there and this was prepared by Alberto and Simona. The Italian courses we ate were really great and Alberto explained their preparation to us. His homemade drinks were also appreciated. The inclusive Continental breakfast, which included homemade cake and jams, was equally enjoyed by us. Lovely hosts, lovely property which we would have no hesitation in recommending and would certainly book again if in this area.

Everything... This is clearly a couple who are invested in providing high quality service with attention to detail and they smashed it out the park. We were traveling with a <2 year old and booked a baby cot. They also provided us with wipes and nappy sacks. Breakfast was lovely, the shower was spot on (including massage jets!!!!). This is why I want to give reviews, for when you stay somewhere amazing and get this sort of service. There is a garden area that looks amazing, the bed was comfortable; I only consider whether to suggest you don't stay here, to make sure we can stay here again in future without it being fully booked!

Genuinely nothing we could find; it was to my eyes literally faultless. One quick note, the local supermarkets shut at 8pm on weekdays and earlier at weekends, (not the fault of the hosts), but maybe worth having in the back of your mind depending on when you expect to arrive.

The Apartment was TOP....Super clean....Great smell.....The hosts were marvelous....(They are Italians) So they know what they are doing. Top noch cleanliness.....Breakfast good.....Hosts Simona and Alberto are SUPER NICE.....Parking safe in premises....What else?.....Recommended 100%....Having a wife with an OCD for cleanliness....She was happy....so happy me ;-)

No TV in room.....But had a common TV just outside the room which I always enjoyed by myself....So...not a big issue....My wife watched her series on her mobile in the room and I watched mine quietly outside.....So...after a busy day going around...shouldn`t be a big concern to watch TV

It is well located, we were back on the A28 in less than 5 minutes the next day. Breakfast was lovely with homemade cake and jams, delicious coffee and hot chocolate and fresh bread. The very friendly hosts also offered the option of cheese and ham. Our room and the ensuite bathroom were gorgeous and big. The house, veranda and garden are simply beautiful. We arrived a bit late in the evening and contacted the property about this to arrange access. The hosts were very forthcoming and accommodating. We would stay again! Loved it.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Alberto and Simona were excellent hosts. They welcomed us into their lovely home at a late hour without any problem. Their top quality residence offered us our own mini apartment. The dinner was superb and nicely presented. The bed was very comfortable with good bathroom facilities. Breakfast was on time, fresh and a good variety. We were treated very well indeed. They spoke very good English, French and Italian. We wish we could have needed to stay longer it was so nice a place.

Nothing to dislike, everything was superb.

the property is situated within 2 minutes from the motorway but you could have been in the middle of the county side. The property is spotless and Alberto and Simona are the best hosts you could ask for. we were met following a 7 hour drive with a beer and a a glass of wine out on the porch. the room was excellent perfectly presented had al the amenities you could ask for. we had the evening meal which was all home made and fresh. Breakfast was plentiful and just what is needed for the days travel of sightseeing. WIFI accessible in all the areas too.
