Stunning accomodation in the centre of a beautiful and peaceful village with so many sights to see in the area. We were made to feel so welcome by Philip and his family, who went out of their way to make our stay so memorable. The property has been lovingly restored and has delightful spacious rooms with windows and balconies for a gorgeous breeze in summer. The beds are super comfy and Philip helped us park right outside. There are a few, pizza and bakeries a few steps away and beautiful walks along the river and historical buildings. Thank you for making our short stay so amazing, our entire family will remember your family and beautiful property. The wine and breakfast is fantastic and Philips wife is a talented artist. We took a little piece of her work with us to remember our stay.

The house is situated very nicely in the village. It is beautifully restored and everything is fresh and new with a lot of attention to detail. The host is amazing. It's an extremely friendly and open family. It is a great place to stay for just the night on the way south, or for a longer time enjoying the area. We were a group of motorbikes and parking was right in front of the door, with storage available in the locked garage.

Had a great stay with my 2 boys in an old-style Inn with very friendly & helpful hosts. Highly recommended. We liked the rustic feel, the comfy beds, the large room and the general welcoming atmosphere. My boys were specifically happy about the table-football downstairs, which they used intensely. I appreciated also the information and directions to an excursion in the area ("Puy de Vichatel") and the good breakfast.

The WiFi is not the best, as was the TV-connection in the room (the boys complaint...)

Lovely large room in this beautiful house along with excellent en suite bathroom. Right in the centre of this charming little town. Were able to park directly outside but if we had not been able to we still could have dropped of our luggage and parked a few hundred yards away. As St Amant Tallende is a quiet town would be happy to leave a car there. Lovely owners provide a very good breakfast. This is the second time we have stayed here and would highly recommend.

This is a fabulous property in a beautiful location hosted by really lovely people. Fantastic breakfast! This is honestly one of the best places we have stayed in while travelling around France. It is a beautifully renovated and very comfortable property where guests are extremely well looked after by the wonderful hosts.

Lovely clean large room and comfortable. Proprietor was very helpful right from the start as my campervan fanatic friends had a fuel problem and the advice from the good landlord was spot on to help get them going again even allowing them to have breakfast at the property to help with their start to the next day. Location is fantastic as served by many shops within a very short walk.

Emma and Philip are excellent hosts and very welcoming. The historic building has been very tastefully refurbished. The breakfast is great. Overall great value for money. We will aim to stay there again when next in the area and will recommend to our friends/acquaintances.

Nice and friendly people, nice accommodation. Great value for money. Also nice location for the intermediate stop on our way to the south.

there was no air conditioning, and although it was fairly cool in the rooms, airco would have been appreciated.

Beautiful location in a stunning village. Huge bedroom with a great en-suite shower room which was also a good size! Breakfast was really lovely. Emma kindly got gluten free bread & cooked eggs for my Coeliac husband.

Super friendly hosts. Lovely restored building in small village with excellent butchers and patisserie. Great choice of breads and croissants for breakfast with jams and fresh fruit and yogurt. Very good restaurant just round the corner serving authentic Auvergne dishes.
