Comfort Hotel Clermont Saint Jacques

The whole stay was very good, staff excellent, sadly due to terrible bad weather, the wind was blowing at 100kmph, an electric cable on the outside of the building had broken loose and it was slapping against the bedroom window, so we could not accept that room which was a superior twin. The young lady receptionist changed our room for us but she did not have a superior room for us so we accepted a smaller standard room which was adequate and she gave us both a free breakfast next morning. She was very helpful to us as were all the staff.

Sadly we had to have a Standard room, due to weather damage to our superior one. There are no evening meals at weekend.

The hotel is wonderfully modern, perfectly located for a stopover when driving back from Frances South or Atlantic coast. Family room option was superb, tram stop on the doorstep and breakfast buffet outstanding! Secure parking a massive plus. Didn’t expect it to be this good. Pictures online don’t do this place any justice. It is much nicer in reality. Staff were super helpful, recommending restaurants etc and efficient in processing our booking. Top notch!

The rooms were a tiny bit noisy but thats no problem. It was BUSY at the hotel and that’s the nature of things when every room is occupied

Clean room with basic necessities. Very nice staff. The breakfast was clearly above average. There's not much around the hotel but the restaurant downstairs served decent food with very good service.

The hotel is quite far off the city center. There is a tram but at least in the evenings it goes very rarely.

Stayed 2 nights, room clean and comfy, body wash provided with towels and hairdryer. Kettle, coffee, tea, sugar, milk. €12 for all you can eat breakfast lots of choice. Evening meal was lovely all homemade. Private secure parking for €6 per day. Few minutes walk to the chu montpied.

room was very clean staff were polite and helpful, We ate in the restaurant the menu was limited but would recommend the plate de jour. breakfast had a good variety fresh juice fresh pancakes overall the hotel was good value for money for a mid price range hotel.

location, staff and size of rooms - family room was excellent!

unfortunately on of the paintings fell from the wall and landed on my sons head - it was a canvas print so not heavy to cause damage but still woke him with a freight in the night.

Great one night stay while traveling. Restaurant food and service remarkably good. The secured parking at the back of the hotel was great security for our car full of gear. Well worth the extra few Euros.

The location is rather out of the way from anything, unless you need the hospital or a petrol station. Both are next door. We needed petrol so came in handy. As the restaurant was good. We did not mind nothing else is in the area.

The air conditioning/heating appliance situated outside, is very noisy. Would have loved the restaurant to be open at the weekend.

This was a hotel we were using to stop-over before heading on the next night. It served its purpose well and there was a great restaurant that hit all the right spots.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely restaurant. Location was great for a stop over on the way to the South of France. Free secure parking was a bonus. We had a family room that was a really good size for the 5 of us.
