Ibis budget Orléans Sud Comet

Very happy with the hotel in general and the staff too. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was good also.

It was very hot and the air con unit didn't work. We had to close the window at night because we had an incident a month ago at a different hotel, where someone tried to gain access to our room via the window. Sadly the room became quite hot in the night and our handicapped daughter had a grand mal seizure. Just one of those things and It won't stop us using this decent hotel again. Kevin Savage (UK)

We stayed here for 2 nights. Plenty of onsite free parking in October Check in was fine. Though a welcome smile would have been appreciated from the person checking us in. The room was basic but clean. Separate shower and w.c. The sink is in the bedroom. Shower gel but no hand soap or hairdryer. There isn't a wardrobe or cupboards but there are hangers to use for your clothes You can have breakfast there, but the seating area is really basic. We much preferred to go to the patisserie at the corner of the road.

Good location very close to the centre, lots amenities around. Clean and comfortable room for budget hotel. Room larger than other Ibis budget. Mattress was firm just how I like it for my back. Requested extra pillows, which was provided. Free hot water and cups to make tea and coffee. Staff very nice, friendly and helpful.

Pillows were really soft and a little on the lumpy side. Apart from that all good.

Convenient for the motorway. Good parking. Quick check-in. Comfortable, clean and basic. Good shower, towels provided. No artwork on the walls (which is a plus. It can often be bland or hideous in such places). Wifi was fine too. Cheap considering we booked very last minute (about half an hour before we turned up). 94 euros for 2 rooms in August. Much better than our experience of a B&B hotel which was quite cramped.

Ensure you input your door code quickly otherwise it won't open. We only realised this after having to get a new code from reception. The coffee from the machine isn't great. Nest time we'll bring a travel kettle. There's no fridge but wouldn;t really expect it from a budget hotel.

The atmosphere when you enter is calm and relaxing, the rooms spotless and perfectly appointed, and the grounds attractively wooded. The room was spacious, the twin beds wide with lovely bed linen, and the beer on the terrace after a six days driving from southern France was magic. I have stayed in other hotels along the way but none were a patch on this one. It is exceptional.

The young receptionist was charming and helpful. Very welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable and warm but not too hot as many hotel rooms are.

Not keen on the shower being in the bedroom but it is a budget hotel so as I was on my own not really a problem. A bit difficult for my GPS to find!

Room was ideal for an overnight stay. Basic but everything you needed, beds, toilet, shower and washbasin was there. Even had a tv but no satellite channels.

If you wanted a cup of tea or coffee in the room you had to purchase it from a machine in the foyer, no tea making facilities in the room.

Nice quiet clean place with plenty of food places around. We stopped for one night as a rest place before carrying on our journey.

All went well. Ibis is a good example of network accomodations equal quality all around Europe. A bit dirty in comparison to other Ibis'es in other countries. France has stability for this.

We had impression that bedsheets were not fresh, though was exchanged without any problems.

The local restaurant is just across the road, however there's a high fence around the hotel and the road is a busy dual carriageway. It's a long walk to the crossing and back
