Hotel Saint Gothard

Nice clean modern rooms, good location.

Rooms were small, walls were thin so lock of the draw how much noise you got.

Spent the weekend with my 3 kids - all in one room. Hotel was clean. The design was very modern and correct. Rooms were clean. We ALL loved the comfy beds. In all - we were VERY happy! Note to other customers, as I have seen a few bad reviews. This is a typical French hotel that you will find around the main train stations in most cities. It is not Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Expect something appropriate, and you will be pleased. We would happily stay again..

Toilet in the room was VERY weak, meaning that it didn't flush properly. Minor issue, but worth mentioning

Excellent value for money considering the location. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Good variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Close to station and only a short walk to the sea, main shopping area, trams, etc.

Water temperature ofvshower was very difficult to control although there was always plenty of hot water available. We were a little nervous about the security of the toilet cistern as it was a little askew and didn’t appear to be secured to the wall but it remained in place for the duration of our stay!

The front desk was well-mannered, Knowledgable and the rooms were as expected from a 3-star hotel, I enjoyed my stay. The shower was okay, the location was great with only a couple hundred meters from the tram lines that take you right into the old town of Nice and the beach.

The TV did not have the ability to connect a HDMI cable. The rooms were a little small with office tiles as the ceiling. The lift was very tight but worked just fine. The lounge/seating area could use a few more seats. The wifi in our rooms was barely working and the sign in method was annoying.

The room was clean, with comfortable bedding. The location was excellent as it was close to the train station, and within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach (approx 1-2 km). The breakfast offered was not extravagant but was acceptable, with yogurt, fruit, pastry's, small selection of cheese and coffee machine with assortment of choices.

Although the room was clean, and appeared to be recently renovated, there was evidence of some wear and tear already in the bathroom. A larger sink would be beneficial and prevent damage to the cupboards, as it was hard not to get water on the cabinets that already had some water damage.

Really clean, super nice staff, comfy rooms, nice breakfast (I can’t have gluten or dairy but they have eggs and fresh fruit so was still nice!), really ideally located.

There aren’t really any facilities but we didn’t need this during our stay (but maybe worth noting). Though the breakfast spread was nice and I managed to eat, it’s not super accommodating of dietries; there any plenty of supermarkets and cafes nearby so this isn’t a massive issue, but worth noting!

The hotels location was near the Center and only a short 10 min walk to the beach. The room was small but very nice, comfortable and modern. We liked our balcony. It was easy to communicate with the front desk and they were really helpful. We would book this hotel again.

The breakfast was a bit boring because there were only sweet things like Nutella or jam, for 9€ we at least expected on sort of meat or some veggies. But there are many bakeries around the hotel so that’s not a big problem. Also on some days the Wlan did not work while on other days it was good, so it depends.

-good position of the hotel, near train station close to the beach, in the very center, and a good price. -staff was kind

-room is really tiny, but it was clean. -they are using some weird detergent so the towels have weird smell. so i suggest bring ur own at least for face. -walls are really thin… -internet is awful, even my own 4G while in hotel worked terribly, the moment i step out it works just fine

The Staff was very nice, room was clean and the bed was also quite comfortable. The room was small but we knew it from the photos already. The room had a lock and entry trough a card so it was safe to keep our things there

There wasn't much we particularly disliked, I was just surprised when we came back to our room and the towels were replaced, we also opened a soap day before and the next day the staff took the soap away and gave us a new one which is good but it felt like a bit of a waste since we used it just a little and we had to open a new one also using it once and throwing it away

The location of the hotel is super close to the train station, and not too far away from the promenade and Place Massena etc. There is some grocery shops nearby, and some restaurants too, if you don’t want to go too far to eat. The staff were super helpful, and could assist you with anything.

The room we got was a bit too small, the bathroom was ok size. The hair dryer stopped working after a few minutes, but maybe that was just ours.
