Novotel Lille Centre Gares

1. It's not far from the station at all. Directions by foot: if you arrive at Flanders Lille station go to the McDonald's and take your left. Go straight and there is the hotel. 2. All the receptionist are very helpful and kind! 3. I could leave our luggage at the reception after check-out 4. VERY DELICIOUS BREAKFAST! 5. Games are available to play with children in the area next to the reception. We had a lovely safe stay! Thank you

If I want too be picky in the room some dirt here and there on the floor + one of the cushions that was on the bed was dirty but when I put a sign on the door for cleaning , it was replaced and the room was also cleaned. Thanks to the cleaning lady on 5th floor!

Close to the centre of Lille and railway stations. 20 minute walk to Cita Parc and the zoo. Ideal for families. We had a double bed and sofa bed for the three of us. Breakfast has a wide choice and staff are efficient in topping up food and clearing away tables etc. Room was clean and there were enough towels. The bar area has board games and table football so great for relaxing. Lunchtime menu looked great although didn't have time to try it.

Nothing really......perhaps some better pillows as they were a bit lumpy, but that was personal choice.

It’s a simple, comfortable family hotel close to station and city centre. breakfast was nice and room was clean, room price was good.

Breakfast staff were not that friendly, main items were gone before end of breakfast time (had to demand more sausages!) The breakfast was expensive (£16.5 eur), shower pressure quite low. A receptionist did not want to give our children an extra chocolate egg (it was Easter), she said they only had one egg per child. This sounds quite reasonable but our child dropped her egg on floor by accident and was upset, replacement would have helped. she did say we could take one finally after our child cried for a while.

The staff was friendly and helpful. From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out they had smiles on their faces and contributed to our stay being fantastic. The lobby was a great place to share a drink with friends in the evening or for the kids to play after breakfast. The breakfast was well run and had a great selection of food. Our room was comfortable, especially our bed which is hard to find at most hotels.

The only negative is parking. The parkade next to the hotel was quite expensive and it was hard to find a spot in the evening. Also, it would be nice if the gym had some yoga mats or some Kettlebells/dumbbells.

Very well located, just a few minutes walk from the train stations and near the city centre. the room was quite spacious with coffee/tea available. Good walk-in shower with good quality toiletries. Breakfast was simply amazing: top notch products and well presented from start to finish! All staff were very lovely and happy to help when needed!

Unfortunately, not having the air conditioning o doesn’t sound like a 4-star hotel thing. The room got very warm during the day and, as a consequence, also during the night as they simply won’t turn the central air con before May!! Should be reclassified as 3 stars because of that.

Friendly staff, room and bed size were very satisfying. The toilet was always clean and the breakfast was also good. The location was great for my trip, very close to the main station and to the conference center.

There were some not so positive thing in my staying, but some are not possible to improve. For example, the toilet bowl is located in a different room from the sink. Also, the bath soap dispenser un-glued itself from the wall in the middle of the night.

Location is great. My family loved the foosball table, the restaurant and bar. The staff (Omar) was great, very accommodating, and happy to store our luggage while we took in some sights.

The Hotel is undergoing some construction and maintenance. So, that draws from the experience, undoubtedly. You can see the rooms are a bit rough around the edges here and there, and while the facilities are there, I would probably say this is more of a three star hotel than 4.

Friendly and ready to help staff. Bedroom was clean and quiet. Location is close to the city centre, very easy to walk and have a feel for the city.

However, not knowing the area (between hotel and city centre), it doesn't seem like the safest area to walk alone at night.

Wonderful, friendly staff. Felt safe and comfortable. Had left my power adaptor, returned and they retrieved.

Probably more on Eurorail, but lacked directions from Eurolille. Saw a Novotel sign, but was Swift Novotel and the receptionist was less than helpful. (This Novotel is other side of station). After wandering streets, receptionist at Ibis assisted.

Great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is used to having children. Some games and table football in the bar area. Super choice of buffet breakfast. Good size room for 3 of us. Hotel feels comfortable. There are places in the main reception to sit and relax.

Some of the pillows were a bit lumpy, but that might just be my personal preference.
