Ibis budget Rouen Petit Quevilly

This is a great option for a one or two night stay in Rouen. I booked this hotel as it had plenty of parking, was one minute off the main road and was 5 minutes walk to a tram stop and we were in the centre of Rouen in less than 10 minutes by tram. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Remember this is a two star hotel at a great price and my comments relate to it being a cheaper option hotel. I was really impressed with the room for the price. It was small but had space to hang stuff, was light, window opened fully and it was perfectly cleaned. Some people might not like the fact that you step out of the shower straight into the room, but the shower is great, nice shower gel provided and if you want privacy there is a curtain to divide this area from the rest of the room. (The toilet is separate, just to reassure you of that) The breakfast was included in the price and was amazing, better than some 4 star hotels we have stayed in. Selection of breads, pastries and cakes, ham, cheese, jams, eggs, fruit. All the staff were really welcoming and helpful. This was just an overnight stop for us with an evening in Rouen but I would definitely book again for any short trip to Rouen.

Nothing to dislike.

Little Petit hotel. Excellent place to book with if you need to rest for a night. Was easy enough to find from the main road. Room isn’t big but we didn’t need more just to have a rest for affordable price. Windows are doing a good job to block the sound of the main road. Bed linen is clean and crispy, mattress is comfortable. Shower and toilet facilities are exceptionally clean. Continental breakfast contained more than enough choice to charge us for the next day road trip. Check- in system was easy . Staff was attentive and polite. I won’t hesitate to book again next time. Thank you.

Clean and bright well worth the money we were apprehensive of booking a 2 star ibis (no offence) but if your reading this thinking of booking do it it’s small but effective

The reception wasn’t manned making check in not very explanatory as the printer wasn’t working and no one was answering the emergency number luckily another guest told us what to do and I had taken a picture of the hotel room and codes This didn’t effect our stay just a side note

This is an Ibis Budget hotel so it is essentially quite minimal. But it was comfortable and well managed, and on a vwery hot day the air con and blackout blind was very welcome The included breakfast was very good. The location was great - just off the main Rouen road, and a short walk to the regular trams into the centre of town

A minor quibble: the bunk bed over the head of the double bed had to be remembered or skulls got cracked!

We thought the buffet breakfast was very good.

We arrived very late due to traffic problems at the Eurotunnel and didn't know how to book in and open the gate access to the car park. Some simple instructions in the booking email confirmation would have solved this issue. Once we had found the self service machine and got our access code it was a very efficient simple process to open the gate, the doors and our rooms.

I wasn't expecting much from a budget hotel but this was a perfect stop over on a trip to the south of France. It was clean and comfortable with air conditioning . The reception staff were exceedingly nice. The continental breakfast was plentiful with a good choice. Parking was easy . We were pleasantly surprised.

To be fair it wasn't the most salubrious part of town.

We just wanted a basic convenient budget stopover on our way south and this fitted the bill perfectly. Decent value, clean, good breakfast.

Slightly confusing trying to gain access at first with reception closed, and as we had a 'triple' room (doubles not available when we booked but the same price), the overhead bunk bed was a head-knock waiting to happen.

To be fair,we did not expect much from a budget room. But it was a nice surprise. Yes, it was very compact - but everything we needed was there. A douche with soap and towels, dustbins, TV and good wifi. The room was cozy painted too. This should be the new standard for budget hotels. There was free parking and a metro station at walking distance, which was why we had chosen this hotel for a visit to Rouen.

The sorrounding area of the hotel is nice and the parking area is illuminated with a gate which closes at night. The bed was comfortable and the room well isolated, I could hear 0 noise in the morning, perfect.

The room is well organized to use the space at best, but a bit small for 3 people. The entrance to the hotel/parking area is a little tricky, not so easy to drive in and out.

clean, very pleasant and English speaking staff. my daughter left her EarPods in the room and we would of missed our train if we had turned back (and also too far by the time she realised) so we emailed them to which they found them and posted them back to England for us for a small fee. we were so very grateful that they went above and beyond to return them to us.
