Hotel Inn Design La Rochelle

I was pleasantly surprised, it was just me and my dog Henry so perfect for us. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. I did not mind sitting and relaxing at the end of our exciting day on the beach on the bed. I would stay there again without hesitation BUT I would take one of my powerful fans from home with us. The air conditioning did work but it was just not powerful enough and was probably placed in the wrong part of the room, next to the bathroom.. TIP keep the bathroom door closed, it’s next to the air conditioning and very warm in there. I didn’t eat in the restaurant but I will next time, the food looked lovely. Yes, you could hear the traffic at peak time but that is normal anywhere, it did not disrupt my sleep in any way and I found it ok. All in all a very good stay, thank you to all the staff.

It was very warm in the room and because of the reviews concerning the air conditioning and traffic maybe the motel should consider providing adequate fans in all of the rooms and probably a box of ear buds, non of these two items would cost the earth and maybe it would stop the bad reviews concerning these issues. REMEMBER it is a small room so your sofa is your bed.

Actually, it was a studio with cooking facilities and a large bathroom. We shopped in a nearby Carfour and ate in the room. There were 2 large windows with adjustable electric blinds. The private car park had plenty of space. The beakfast was excellent. As well as being near shops and restaurants, it was adjacent to the historic shipyard and museum.

I think the address had been changed recently as satnav couldn't find it.

Practical location very close to the bridge of Ile de Ré. Very simple hotel, but confortable enough.

Some fixture could be updated, especially in the bathroom, and the bedsheets, although clean, were stained. A bit expensive for what it is, but I guess it's the high season price to expect.

All fine, it wasn't super close to the centre but I knew that when I booked and wasn't surprised. Staff at reception was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and refreshed daily as well.

bathroom needs a hand rail very slippery in bath when having a shower ended up on my bottom

the rooms were basic but clean. the breakfast was excellent

when I received my booking confirmation I was told that the restaurant would be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was suspicious that it wouldn’t be open on a Monday night and in fact it wasn’t open at all apart from breakfast.

Although it was next to a motorway. The sound proofing was 1st class. And I have to say, I have stayed in many hotels, their beds were so comfortable I slept really well.

My husband had an appointment at the nearby Clinique Atlantique at 7 15 the morning of the 15th September, so because we live an hour from la Rochelle, we stayed the night before at the hotel. He walked there in eight minutes, so I was able to have a very nice, leisurely breakfast, and with a midday checkout, I stayed in the room until then - showering, hair-washing etc,. Then when I went to Reception, there were croissants and coffee available - excellent, and the receptionist was very pleasant.

Facilities were good breakfast was good plenty of parking, really quiet, slept for 9 hours straight it was so good

Might be a bit out of the way if you dont have a car but we did so 10/10
