greet Hotel La Rochelle Centre

Fabulous hotel close to the center beautiful pool and lovely relaxing open area for families to play games or enjoy a pizza or drink .

The family rooms are too cramped and no storage could only recommend for a night or two at the most ..we stayed 5 nights and it was impossible to get in and out of the beds and nowhere to put anything and a very small bathroom for 4 people..had to leave the room once I got up as no space to move around with 4 people and all our bags ,cases etc

We had a triple room for 2 and it was very comfortable especially as it had air con and was really warm temperatures for September. It was a quiet and relaxing hotel stay. There was a water filter station on our floor which was great for refillling bottles. The bathroom and overall decor of the room was modern and well fitted out. The midday check-out time and opportunity to store bags was helpful. It's a short walk from the train station, and old town.

Location is within easy walk of the harbour and town centre which Is just under a km away. Although no parking there is a large car park just over the road opposite the Hospital which is protected by CCTV and is relatively cheap to park. The Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly which made for a pleasant stay.

Breakfast was limited but adequate otherwise there wasn’t a lot to dislike.

The hotel is super! Arrived early, and my room was ready. Greeted by lovely staff. All staff so kind and helpful. Lovely pool area, outside seating etc. Great bar area. Breakfast really good. Great fruit salad. V clean. Will certainly stay again. Great hotel, superb staff.

Pool was lovely and empty most of times we went swimming. Access to Chess and Pool table in the bar each night for free was greatly appreciated especially by my teen son. Room was a little tight for 3 people but expected that. Could have done with a couple of extra pillows in the bedroom but I know I could have asked.

Pillows were too soft.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The pool area was nice. I liked the decor in reception, comfortable chairs and gaming tables. Breakfast was also good.

Our room was quite dark, even on a sunny day. We had a balcony overlooking the car park, it was a bad design and unpleasant.

Bedroom a good size. Balcony (room 349) Pool area is lovely, was cleaned every morning. Loved the water coolers in the corridor.

Bathroom is small, great for 1 person but probably not for families. A kettle would be lovely, a fridge would be amazing!

The general ambience was welcoming. Staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. Pool was an added bonus. Location short walk to places of interest. Limited menu in evening but the pizza was freshly made and tasty.

There was nothing to dislike. ……Perhaps a bit more variety of fruit at breakfast might be good.

Location and the beds were really comfy the hotel had good facilities too

The breakfast was chaotic the quirky seating didn’t work for breakfast and if it had been raining it would have been even worse. Was charged extra for hot chocolate when included in breakfast when asked where to get it from :(

Breakfast was good but a hotter egg pan would have been better.

The bar prices were a little expensive for the beers etc. The general industrial look of the bedrooms wasn't to my taste and as I was sharing with a friend, the glass panel between the bathroom and bedroom wasn't so good.
