The breakfast was fresh, very tasty served up with a smile from the old couple who owned and ran the motel. The room was very clean and tidy and very large with a huge bathroom it far exceeded the quality and size of the rooms we had stayed in,the price was very reasonable and the hotel was very secure as it was behind a steel gate. The added bonus was a laundromat across the road, the location was great as we could walk around everywhere and there were many restaurants to choose from, it was a perfect stay for 3 nights it would also be very suitable for more than a week. I don't generally rave about accommodation but there was nothing that I could fault, compared to the other motels that I stayed in I would rate this in the best 3 motels I have ever stayed in.

If there was anything that wasn't above standard it was the wi fi it kept dropping in and out probably because of the mountains that surround Grenoble.

A quaint hotel, with large metal doors and a bell to ring for access. Friendly hosts provided us with keys for a large room with king bed off a small courtyard that doubled as a parking lot. Very clean. Limited parking. Good breakfast of bread and croissants with cheese and jam, coffee and orange juice. Complimentary parking. The hosts were very friendly and gave advice on places to visit in Grenoble.

A wonderful stay. A vintage hotel right downtown which was easy to find and thankfully has parking behind gates which makes the stay very easy. The vintage styling of the hotel is very interesting/enjoyable to include the furniture in the room. The room and bathroom are large and very clean and fresh. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. This is a great location as there are at least 40 restaurants in a 2 to 3 block radius, from quick Kabob/Pizza type stands, to full on fancy restaurants. Also there are a few grocery stores within a few blocks. Although being downtown the room was very quiet and has wonderful shutters that allow you to leave the windows open at night for airflow but still have privacy a. To enter pull into the driveway/portage underneath The large Hotel Victoria sign, and there is a button to ring to the right side of the gate.

Antique but very quiet and comfortable hotel. The bed was huge and the heating was well equipped. Bread with nice cheese, butter, and confiture was available for breakfast. The hotel owners were so nice that they taught me a lot of French culture, cuisine, and language although I didn’t speak French well. The owner speaks English.

Free wi-fi was a little choppy here.

Overall it's very great. The breakfast is great and the host is very nice. It's very clean. The host even made the bed for you every day. The facility is a git old but it's very clean and a quite place.

The wifi is not good. In my room the wifi is poor. But we can work in the dining hall where the wifi is good. So, I had a few meetings over there rather than in my room:)

It felt very safe because the courtyard was closed off by a very secure door. The breakfast was very generous and well presented. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was calm and quiet. There was a cinema a couple of streets away with a great selection of films.

The mosquitos.

Great staff, very accommodating. The hotel location is great for exploring the old town. The secure parking for my motorcycle was a great weight off my mind. The rooms are simple but very clean. I really liked the quirky ornaments that decorate the main hotel reception and breakfast rooms.

The hotel was centrally located in a great spot. So easy to wander the streets for touring, shopping and food. Felt very safe as a solo traveler with a hotel security gate and another locked door access before entering my room. Oh, and the breakfast was lovely.

Nice room with all we need. The bathroom is clean. Friendly staff. There're a lot of cafes and restaurants around. You need less than 15 minutes on foot to arrive at the city center.

There are plastic flowers in the room, it's difficult to clean, so they were a bit dusty.

Very enjoyable stay at Hotel Victoria - old fashioned charm. Rare to find parking in centre of Grenoble, though it's a little tight. Hotel was very secure due to main gate locked at night. Room was charming and spacious. Breakfast was very good. We hope to stay again.
