Hotel Clermont Estaing

Friendly Staff at check-in all well explained. Beds were very comfortable. The shower worked very well as did the air conditioning and the WiFi connection. Great parking facilities onsite and free of charge. Several restaurants and other commercial options nearby and within walking distance.

Baby crib only available if reserved in advance (regardless of availability). Our child had to slip on the bed with us with little protection.... Towels for the shower were too small and got wet very quickly. The room was quite small compared to other similar hotels we stayed at with very little room between the beds and the wall making it narrow to pass by.

We were a party of 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel gave us 2 rooms opposite each other which were at the end of the hall and we had a separate door which isolated these 2 rooms from the rest of the hall so we could keep our room doors open but close the other door for privacy & security, This gave us peace of mind that we were not separated from our children.

The room was large and clean. I was traveling with someone in a wheelchair and we were put in a room with more space and a disabled toilet which was very much appreciated. It is pet friendly - dogs are allowed (8 euros per dog).

There was no restaurant to get dinner but there was a restaurant and shop nearby. However, breakfast is available at the hotel.

This is the perfect functional Hotel. it is well located, safe, with a big parking, and everything works. you have all the basic facilities to be comfortable, good bed, Airco, super clean and a very good breakfast. Friendly staff. Restaurants in the hotel & More nearby. Rooms of a decent size. very good value for money.

It would have been great to have a mini bar in the room but this is just a detail because there is a vending machine in the ground floor

The hotel was about forty five minutes walk from the town but there was an excellent tram line service five minute walk away. There were very few eating places open nearby and the hotel did not have dining facilities so it was necessary to travel into town to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Rooms are nicely furnished and large for family, we had connecting rooms, parking was large too, put actually just enough when hotel is fully book, Bath is well equipped, beds are comfortable. Breakfast was fine, and enough for the price

Location lack of charging station for ev, hopefully the city will improve it overtime. For sure it would help if the hotel itself would provide a few plugs 7kwh or 11kwh could already help.

Good isolation, heating in the room and in the bathroom. Very friendly staff. Speaks english. We were with a small dog, no issues at all. Nice that there was a carpet in the room - much more cosy and warm than if there were tiles. :)

Breakfast pretty simple, but ok if you just stay to sleep over and move on to your road.

This hotel is excellent we have been travelling throughout France and staying in mid price hotels, some have been terrible for the price and was begining to think decent hotels did not exist in France, however, this one exceeded my expetations, extremely clean, large room, large bed, decent bathroom, great shower and a bonus of a kettle!!

Very good location as it is very easy to reach the town centre by tram in one direction (5 minutes walk to the tram) and to the very good art museum in the opposite direction .

The walls between the room are thin. However, all guests were respectful of others and this was not a problem.
