Hôtel Moderna

Two elder ladies in the reception are so kind and helpful. They are always very happy to answer questions and provided helps such as taxi and restaurant…etc. I am very appreciated. In addition, my room was cleaned much better than I expected every day. Thank you cleaning lady!

Sometimes you can still hear people’s voice who lived in the next room at night.

Fabulous hotel in a great location. Lovely rooms, the owner has great taste! The hotel has a sweet little courtyard in the middle. Exceptionally clean. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been a nice addition. I'd taken a travel kettle so not a problem for us, but worth noting so you can pack accordingly!

The room was spotlessly clean bathroom beautiful staff excellent especially Lydia and Fatima. We were unable to get a taxi from hotel to Ferry Port to get our sailing to Dublin, Fatima very kindly offered to drive us and really saved the day. Thank you so much again Fatima and also to Lydia for coming to our rescue. Terry and Maura Mc Cullough

I like the bed..very comfortable and very clean the sheets and pillows...the staff are very helpful during our check in as we arrived very late and it's raining while I'm with two kids ..thank you do much for the help..

I hope to have much more choices for breakfast..but it isn't that bad..

Very clean and well maintained. Central location . Friendly staff. Generally quiet/ relaxed hotel. I would stay again.

No tea/ coffee facilities in the room. (Available to order through room service) Room and bathroom quite small. Limited saloon space and next to kitchen.

it needs air conditioning in the bedroom badly - we found it hard to sleep as it was so stuffy. opened windows but it was still hot and noisy

Location was perfect for the ferry. The room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast great!

Nothing to dislike. There’s no parking but the lady at reception pointed to a free car park at the end of the street and across the road.

it was central to everything it was well kept and furnishings were cheic and modern and were very welcoming and accommodating

I like to stay in small hotels with the touch of the owners care and enthusiasm. Hotel Moderna is certainly such a place. Very nice people providing advices and support with the personal service I needed all the way through.

Great location close to the ferry terminal, free parking and local restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff - they upgraded is FOC to a better room as our room wasn't ready when we arrived. Excellent breakfast and great value for money.
