B&B HOTEL Chartres Centre Cathédrale

Breakfast was excellent. A good choice of food and drink. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Good shower design, spacious washroom, well appointed.

At least one English chanel, perhaps BBC1 on the tv as judging by all the notices translated into English they welcome quite a few English guests. WiFi should be freely available. A welcome pack in the bedroom with information about the hotel such as breakfast serving times, dinner serving times. Decor in the bedroom. The paint colours were miserable and dark, dark grey and hospital green.

Hotel is in a wonderful location really handy for all the sights including shopping, the lovely old town with its many restaurants and of course the absolutely spectacular Cathedral. The bar and restaurant are modern and very welcoming, although we didn't use either on this trip. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. Parking underground is secure but not the easiest to manoeuvre getting in and out if the car due to the walls between each parking space!

Like most hotels these days no tea/ coffee making facilities available. After a long drive the ability to relax with a hot drink in the comfort of your room is so needed.🥺

The surroundings were very nice, you could eat breakfast outside n the terrace. Breakfast was quit good and plentiful.

The rooms are much too small. We asked for another room as ours was on the street and very loud. We did get another room on the second floor toward the back and had a view of the cathedral, but all thr rooms were the same size. The staff was helpful enough but all in all, the price was too high for what was offered.

Centrally located within walking distance of the Cathedral and good restaurants. The secure parking was essential for us as we were packed for the holidays

Deviations and roadworks - hopefully temporary - made driving to the hotel a hellish experiance. The road signs were inadequate and might of encouraged most visitors to give up and go elsewhere. The lasting impression was that visitors - especially new ones - were unwelcomed.

We have been to this hotel before but under different management. They have been and still are refurbishing it , our room over looked there car Park we were on 2nd floor . Room was ok as was bathroom loved the flooring. We paid €10 to Park our car on site,well worth it . Staff were great very helpful. The hotel is in a great location not to far from city centre but it’s up lots of steps or up hill .

Only the bed seemed a bit short .

Everything was amazing! We were especially pleased with the location of the hotel, the friendly staff, the wonderful view from the window of Chartres Cathedral, the cleanliness and ergonomics of the room, the wonderful romantic terrace and breakfast.

Bathroom ventilation.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Good facilities and impressed with our room. Very comfortable bed and good shower. We had dinner in the restaurant and food was lovely and reasonably priced.

The only problem we had was with the air-con. The unit was not cooling the room down and the heat did affect my sleep.

This really is a great little budget hotel. Location is spot on to walk into the town, outdoors seating by the river, comfy beds, evening meal was very good and the cherry on the cake for bikers is secure under ground parking.

Rooms are a bit small but for the money I’m happy to compromise

The location was excellent for the cathedral which you can walk to. The hotel parking was safe and all the staff couldn't do enough to help you. The beds were comfy and a great hotel for a great price. Would stay here again.

The smell of paint in the corridors and hand towels would have been nice.

The location is exceptional, walking distance to the cathedral and the historical part of the city. We did not have breakfast but we stayed in the lobby to warm up with tea and coffee, after a long visit of the old town. The service was very good, even though it was a Sunday.

The parking is generous but has no elevator.
