Sylvie and Sebastien the owners are the friendliest people I have met running a hotel. They have renovated the remains of an old wine chateau to a lovely standard. Only a few, personal service and a great breakfast. Do not be put off by the location of the hotel. The best way to get around Bordeaux is by tram. It is very cheap and way better than using Taxis. Sylvie talked us through how easy it was to use and we could be from the hotel into the heart of Bordeaux in 10 or 12 minutes. €1.30 to use the tram for 1 hour. That is a bargain. Take the tram from the Airport to Jean Jures on the A Line. 45 minutes. A 3 minute walk to the hotel. €70 by taxi. less than €3 for a couple.

Nothing really. We thought initally that we were too far out of the city centre. We were wrong.

Exceptional breakfast including delicious yoghurt and fresh pastries (we miss them already)! Brilliant staff- Sylvie, Sebastian & Carla were so attentive and just truly lovely people. The tram is a 5 minute walk away and is so easy and cheap to get into the town centre. We recommend visiting Melodie for dinner and heading out to the vineyards in Medoc and Saint Emillion. This was our first time in Bordeaux, and it certainty wont be our last! If you’re looking for a home away from home, this is the place. We look forward to coming back to Bordeaux and staying at Le Clos Des Queyries once more. Merci, Sylvie et Sebastian!

It was a beautiful property with a lovely garden setting in a quiet neighbourhood. Sylvie and Sebastian including their staff were very warm and welcoming we felt like we were part of their family and they were helpful in so many ways. The property was close to a tram line and Sylvie gave as excellent instructions on purchasing tickets and how the tram network worked. This was extremely helpful as Bordeaux is quite a large city with so much to see.

We would have liked to have been a little closer to the historic centre of Bordeaux.

When gates of the property opened - we felt like it is a quiet oasis in an urban area. We were welcomed by Silye, who made us feel like we are old friends. Both Silye and Sebastian are the most gracious hosts we have ever met! When we entered the room, we were blown away - it was spacious, bright and well decorated. Huge bathroom with soft towels and bathrobes. We felt like we stayed in a five star hotel! We also loved the breakfasts. They were delicious! Silye went out of her way to make sure that my dietary needs are accommodated. Travel to the center of Bordeaux was easy - 2 minute walk from the tram station, which brings you to the heart of the city in 10 minutes.

It was a bit hot at nights, since there is no AC. But then it is hard to find accommodations with AC in Europe. The owners did provide the fan, which helped.

Fantastic accommodation, large comfortable bedroom, with a large walk-in shower, en suite. Great breakfast with the facility to eat inside or out, in their lovely garden. Sebastian is a welcoming and helpful host with excellent staff. A small beautiful chateau in a suburb of Bordeaux with a tastefully decorated interior. Secure free onsite parking. Not in central bordeaux but only a 10 minute tram ride into the centre, with just a 3 minute walk to the tram station from the chateau.

Nothing really. It was a lovely place to stay and we will be back! The sliding gate entrance was not so easy to find and could be better signposted maybe.

It was very convenient to visit the town centre as there is a tram station 5 minutes walk away. Hosts ( Sylvie and Sebastien) provided maps for tourists attractions and recommendations of where to eat. This was so useful especially on our first evening when we arrived. Fabulously spacious room and a large walk in shower. The building has been renovated to a very high standard and the garden is very relaxing also ( sun beds provided) Breakfast was lovely ; yoghurt( home made ) fruit, croissants and french bread and conserves as well as hot drinks . Cheese was also an option. We ate outside when it was sunny and ate at a shared large table with other guests when it wasn't so warm outside.

Sylvie and Sebastian were excellent hosts, they were very welcoming. The Chateau itself is beautifully restored. We stayed in a large suite giving a very grand feel. The rooms are finished in a modern elegant style and pristine! We enjoyed the beautiful breakfast of fresh fruits with homemade yogurt and crusty bread with homemade preserves and fresh coffee. Ideal location for exploring Bordeaux city with the excellent tramline close by. Sylvie and Sebastian we really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

The breakfast at this elegant B&B near Bordeaux, France was quintessentially French. There were croissants and baguettes, homemade jams, yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice, and coffee. The breakfast was definitely a highlight. Le Clos des Queyries proximity to the tram going into downtown Bordeaux is also a huge plus. You can park your car in their private secured parking area and walk to the tram and be in the historic centre in less than 15 minutes.

The signage for the property could be improved to make it easier to find. There were some vines growing on the wall that partially obscured the B&B's sign.

Sylvie & Sebastien are fabulous, welcoming hosts. The incredibly comfortable B&B, full of character is superb, with every small detail carefully considered and executed to an incredibly high standard. The setting for the property is wonderful; a hidden gem with fabulous gardens and a tranquil outside seating / lounging area. With its close proximity to the tram stop, it is a fabulous base to explore the beautiful city of Bordeaux. Breakfast each morning was delicious, freshly squeezed orange juice and homemade jams with crusty bread and melt in the mouth croissants. Nothing was too much trouble. It was our first trip to Bordeaux, but it won’t be our last. We were incredibly blessed with excellent weather and followed the hosts brilliant advice on where to go and what to see in our short two day stay. We can’t recommend this place enough! Nothing - it was all excellent!

Our hosts, Sylvie and Sebastian, were two of the nicest most hands on hosts we have ever encountered. Their lodgings were immaculate, spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and yogurt, fresh orange juice, bread, croissants and choice of coffees and tea. Also has safe and secure parking. If you are in Bordeaux this is where you must stay, Every need is taken care of with efficiency and pleasure.
