Palmito was a fantastic boutique hotel, a stone’s throw from the Petite Plage & with a modern tropical vibe. The room was smallish but the clever design & little balcony gave a feeling of space. The decor made you feel like every day was a Summer holiday., from the palm tree wall paper to the rattan chair & bamboo tray. The bed was comfortable & the water hot. Breakfast to dinner was available at the hotel’s cafe across the road. We drifted off to sleep with the sound of the waves mixed with mellow old school music. The staff were very welcoming & helpful & gave us milk for our tea every evening.

No negatives only positives.

Great sized bedrooms/beds, excellent aircon (we were there over a heatwave) and amazing location right by Le petit plage! Also right around the corner from an AMAZING Patisserie— Noisette.

Towels could have been a little better quality, but that’s a minor! Chrome cast wasn’t working on the TV, But the reception sorted us out with a USB stick for the TV so we could watch Netflix :) Food at the attached restaurant is quite average, maybe head elsewhere! Really well designed though.

We stayed at the Palmito one night in the middle of a bad storm but it had a pleasant off-season feel that carried over from summer. It’s got a great location on a relatively quiet road right by the ocean. The rooms were standard, clean, and the bed was super comfortable. I sank right in. Shower pressure was great and noise level minimal. Cute little Tiki bar restaurant across the street, which is part of the hotel was convenient also.

Because we arrived late they closed off street traffic so we had to park a 6-min walk away from the hotel. In the summer this would have been fine. But during a horrible rain, sleet and wind storm with luggage and kids, it was quite the adventure! Also, off-season the tiki bar is a little sad. The concrete floor had pools of water throughout. The food was not French but Mexican and maybe Polynesian? We ordered by sitting at a table and using our cell phones to place the order. Service wasn’t the best. Maybe save this hotel choice for the summer.

Amazing central location, 5 minutes walk to the nearest beach, restaurants & shops around.

We didn't mind, as it's specified in the description, but if you're looking for a calm and quiet spot, then this isn't for you. Due to an amazing central location, it gets loud in the evening, especially if your windows are facing the "main" street. Also, mugs in our room we're dirty from dust, so definitely, cleaners don't change them if guests do not get to use them..

Loved Hotel Palmito! Cool, laidback vibes a stone’s throw to a great little beach (perfect for kids) - with restaurants, bars, shops literally on the doorstep. Staff were warm, friendly and efficient. Excellent cleanliness. We stayed 3 nights in two different rooms. Room 33 was a cleverly designed space for 4 ( my daughter loved the bunk bed) - perfectly fine but on the small/ dark side. Tropical room 32 next door however was fabulous! Big, bright, airy on the quieter side of hotel. Held three beds with plenty of space. Great double bathroom. Both rooms had comfy beds and pillows , nice strong AC and showers with excellent pressure. Decor was a modern playful take on 50’s. All in all a great stay.

The location is amazing! It was only half a block from the beach, and in close proximity to explore the city by foot. My kids and I stayed in the family room, with 2 lofted beds above the full size bed. we loved how unique & cozy the room was!

We really loved the property, but it wouldn’t have worked as well if we had a car as there is no parking attached to the hotel. There is a small public car park between the hotel and the beach, but spots were hard to come by & i feel it would be difficult for overnight parking.

Ideal location, a minutes walk from the beach and in the middle of the center ville. The rooms were spotless clean everyday after the cleaners and the staff were all extremely friendly. Restaurant across the road was very handy and food was tasty.

Everything was great! Room was slightly small but only minor.

I love the concept of the hotel. It really gives you the feeling of staying at some surfer place in Hawaii. Everything was clean and well equipped.

It was a bit noisy. Lots of door slamming and kids yelling and running. It’s also a bit pricey considering the rooms need a retouch. The mattresses was so soft I sank in and probably used way too many times.

The location was perfect and the staff were so friendly and helpful! The room was pretty small, so my teenage daughter and I were kind of squished together in a double bed. It was only for a night, so no big deal, but something to know if you're staying longer. The hotel staff were more than happy to hold our bags all day while we toured around and they were able to book us a taxi that was perfect for our needs. I would definitely stay here again!

Aside from the room being a little compact, there's really nothing to complain about. Maybe the price was a little high, but it was very comparable to everything else we say in Biarritz.

Great location very close to the beach. Cute layout in the room, staff was very helpful and let us store our luggage and gave us towels to enjoy the beach after we checked out.

A bit loud (but street it is on is lively which could be a plus). Parking was super difficult and confusing since I didn't know the town and some roads were closed for busy season.
