Les Nomades Beaune

This hotel is a gem. Right on the edge of the old city, it is convenient to all the sights and a brisk 15 minute walk or you can take a taxi. Les Nomades looked small from the out side. Once inside the design is cozy and sleek at the same time. It is immaculate. The rooms are not large but very well designed. There is an indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Robes and slippers are provided with the room. Breakfast is a treat with a large buffet with more choices than most European breakfasts. The staff is very helpful and attentive. For 10 Euros, they will do a bag of laundry for you and return it folded the next day! The parking is free and is more than adequate if you have a car. We would highly recommend Les Nomades. You cannot beat this hotel for comfort, design and price.

We liked everything about this hotel.

Breakfast was excellent. Our room was spacious and the shower was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and the room was not too warm which we find is often a problem in hotels. The indoor swimming pool was spotlessly clean and each time I used it I had it to myself which was great!

One tiny thing which could be improved was a hook or rail on which to hang hand towels. Additionally, perhaps a water fountain and glass bottles could be used rather than single use plastic water bottles.

The location of the hotel is outside the center so it's quiet and it's only a small walk tot the center. The staf is friendly and most speak Englisch (Yahoo!). The breakfast is good but a bit pricy. You can also have breakfast in a small Bistro in the center of Beaune which is more economic, but please pass the cafés and restaurants they are costly and stop serving at 9.30~10.00. The hotel has a large parking which is easy to use and safe.

Rooms are comfortable and reasonably well equipped. Our room had a nice view out to the pool area. The pool was very clean and a real pleasure, with the water temperature just right in the 33 degree heat We did not try the breakfast but it looked very appealing A great place to stay for an overnight stop in Beaune

The walk into the centre of Beaune isn't too long - 10 minutes or so - but it is along a reasonably busy road. No real issue but something which may not appeal to some people

Rooms had electric shutters and air conditioning for a really good nights sleep. Well arranged and locked car park. Only a 15 minute walk into the centre of Beaune means you can enjoy your wine with dinner.

For some the absence of a restaurant in the hotel may be a minus. But there are plenty of good restaurants within easy reach on foot or by car or taxi.

So clean. Reception staff just wonderful. Outstanding breakfast with VERY tasty gluten free options. Great location. Great interconnecting rooms for a family. Excellent cupboard space, lovely beds.

Gym is not a gym. Three machines. Two not working. Pool outside and outside are both much smaller than pictures lead you to believe. Freezing outside pool. Can stay in it for long. No one was really in it much. Such a waste.

The place was very good for ours purposes.-wineries visiting and tasting their wines.and it was easy to travel .The hotel is 1.5 km from city center of Beaune. Big room ,very good breakfast,fitness center was good friendly staff.

No air-condition and TV In fitness center,would be more nice.But it’s also ok without it

it was great, from the moment we stepped in to the moment we left, very nice staff, the spaces were as advertised. loved the jacuzzi and the indoor pool! definitely will repeat a stay here!

there were issues with connectivity, for example on the second day they tv was never able to connect to the internet, and wifi was problematic. however I didn’t have a looong stay so perhaps it was just a bad moment, and not a chronic issue.

Efficiency at check in, comfortable and modern rooms, ample parking space, friendly service (not always a given in France), excellent breakfast. What a surprise ‘find’. Honestly I had expected a traditional family run hotel: this might also be family run, but it is super modern, with spacious, clean and modern rooms. Will certainly come again when in the neighborhood.

Nothing: I honestly can’t find any fault with this place and I travel internationally every week…

Find it amazing there are no TV channels (not even news channels !) in the English language (what was, were dubbed !!) as I take it they have numerous English / English speaking guests. Genuine reason for this ? One reason the Portugese speak good English ? they only sub title the movies !

As above, also 15Eu/night for small dogs - excessive. .
