Hotel London Rooms Zagreb Airport

This is a small and very comfortable hotel close to the airport. They have shuttle service included and they are extremely friendly and flexible. I was very surprised! I booked this hotel for my mother. She came from Brazil and needed to do the quarentine before she could fly to Germany to visit me. I had lot of questions during the booking (because of the Corona situation AND because my mother speaks no English) and they were always available and supportive to answer my questions through WhatsApp. I have never seen a hotel personal like this! Mary, one of the staff, picked up my mother at the airport way after the commercial time. You don't see that in big chain hotels. The breakfast was huge and with lot of possibilities. My mother took photos of it every day to send me because she was so happy with all. Everything was prepared with love and care. The dinner was also very good. The surroundings of the hotel are quiet and there are two supermarkets close by. About the connection to Zagreb I can't say much, because she didn't leave the area, but I guess there's absolutely no problem. My mother and Suzi became "friends". She is very friendly and made everything possible to make my mother feel like home. They could not speak much, but in the end they understood each other :) Hands down this is the best option for you if you want a calm place with kind staff and clean rooms.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

This was very good airport hotel, only about 8 minutes from the airport, and met all our needs. The room was relatively spacious and comfortable. The hotel shuttle worked well and was generally on-demand. They also had a good, reasonably priced restaurant on site, which we noticed was supported by locals and not only hotel guests. Having the restaurant on site made it handy as they were in a mixed residential\commercial district. Breakfast was included, but the restaurant wasn't open by the time we needed to leave, but the hosts offer to make us some breakfast we could take with us.

The surrounding area was a mix of residential and commercial buildings, without any nearby attractions, but felt safe and for a hotel you check into to night before an early flight, the surroundings are much less important.

First, the location is excellent if you are transiting through ZAG Airport and need to spend the night. And this hotel is one of the few that offer 'free' shuttles. The rooms are in a remodeled house and very nice. There is free wifi and the facilities are modern but it still has a local charm. The room and public areas are super clean. I woke up early the day I left and they were disinfecting and mopping everything. The public areas smell clean because they evidently clean them every day. I did not eat at the restaurant because I was tired and went to bed and had to get up early, but the food looked delicious. It looked like traditional Balkans food and very very good. Yes, it is close to a train track but the noise did not bother me. The trains are mostly small passenger trains and are gone before you notice. It did not bother me at all. But what makes this place stand out above everything else is the staff. The staff are all very friendly and the owner even got up early to run me back to the airport. They are just nice people. I would stay here again for sure. 5 Stars for this hotel.

We just want to heap praise on London Rooms! From the start, communication was excellent. We messaged Lovrek upon arrival and he was there with the free transfer extremely quickly. Just a short trip and we were at London Rooms. Our accommodation exceeded our expectations. Beds were comfortable, good linen, lovely bathroom and plenty of storage. We had dinner in the 150-year-old basement restaurant which is beautifully decorated (there are other options as well - cafe or outdoors on the deck). The dinner and wine were terrific value. Breakfast was cooked fresh for us and, once again, exceeded our expectations. Lovrek and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. I can honestly say, we wished we could have stayed longer and we most definitely will stay there next time we are in Zagreb.

We loved the included transportation from/to the airport, and that the property had a restaurant and bar! The property were very fast to pick us up at the airport and when taking us back at 4:30am they were on time, smiling, and very accommodating. We also loved having a train station within a 5 minute walk from the hotel to go into Zagreb for a few hours and explore Old Town. It was convenient and something really fun to do if you have a few hours before your flight!

The gentlemen who picked us up at the airport was clearly not having a good day and not very hospitable. He also was on his cellphone (not talking) most of the 7 minutes drive from the airport to the property, which is not safe. Other than the one transfer to the hotel, everything else was really good, and all the other property staff were excellent.

It was very close to the airport. The shuttle service was very convenient (the frequency was very high). The food at the restaurant was great.

Would like to see more equipment in the room. The shower cubicle floor was very slippery. Bath mats were not available. We stayed there for only one night. If someone plans a longer stay then it might be challenging.

The Hotel is a very good choice for travelers arriving on evening planes. Very convenient free shuttle. Excellent breakfast. No frills but clean comfortable accommodation with friendly staff. Very short walk from the hotel to the train station with frequent service to Zagreb.

Airport shuttle was efficient for pickup at airport, and right on time the next morning for early pickup. Restaurant on site was comfortable, delicious and reasonably priced. Close to airport; early in the morning it took less than 10 minutes to get to the airport. Staff was helpful.

Location is next to train tracks meant you could occasionally hear trains going by. However they were short and not loud cargo trains.

We arrived around 4pm (by train) at the apartments, very tired and hungry, and the owners promptly prepared a cheap and very cheerful meal for us. My friend was hurt and they gave us ice for her injury. The place is 50 meters from the train station so that was a bonus for us. The owners were extremely lovely at all times. We forgot to tell them that we wanted breakfast and she knocked on my door with fruits so we could eat something before leaving to the airport. The apartments are very close to the Airport and the free shuttle was on time. I would definitely go back.
