The bed was comfortable

L , Charging $2.50 for the water in the room.except for gold? members. Really??? prices in your mini mart, and restaurant. The damage deposit of $100.00 that was held for 3 business days which which was on a long weekend ,so 5 days. Does Hilton really think a couple in their 60's are going to trash your rooms? We had no plans to stay at a hotel in Toronto after our flight from Europe,but our accommodation fell apart just before boarding our flight.So had to find something very last minute. Have never stayed at a Hilton, and never will.

The hotel was very clean and tidy. Good noise insulation between the rooms. Shuttle to the airport every half hour 24/7. There is a gym and a heated pool. next to the hotel there is a steakhouse and a variety of fast food. got free room upgrade.

Some of the front desk were very unserviceable and we didn't feel welcome. On the other hand there were also some very nice representatives!

Nice, clean, modern hotel. Stayed here three times now in as many years. Large, very clean rooms with great airport view (extra $$). Everything exceptionally clean. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Fabulous Breakfast (Extra$) at Turtle Jack's in the hotel. Well worth the cost. Great staff in there, too! Will stay again if the occasion arises.

Well, I think a 4-Star hotel should have a bar that stays open till 02:00 or whatever the local laws allow. Having to walk off the premises in the wet and snow for a snack or nightcap should not have to be. We weren't alone in this, as many others returned after going to a local watering hole as we did. I'm sure the hotel could use the extra monetary benefits. I realize we're still coming out of COVID practices, but if it's okay at the joint beside the hotel, why not the hotel itself? This could be a chain rule, not the specific hotel itself, but something to think about. My only little niggle from my stay!

The bed was very comfy, had a very good sleep in it (might even be the best bed and pillows I've slept on for the past 30 years). Rooms are very clean and the toiletries were excellent - they were the best smelling toiletries I've used, as expected of Crabtree & Evelyn. Towels were nice and thick. Location was nice, it was 2 minute away from the airport and we arrived at the hotel, and at the airport in no time. There was free airport shuttle, and the drivers were friendly. Though we were confused at first, because there was a different shuttle Double Tree Toronto WEST which arrived first. Thankfully, the hotel instructed to look for the shuttle shared with Fairfield and Hampton, and that the drivers always ask if which Double Tree. Facilities were good - there was a mini mart beside the lobby, Starbucks (though not full menu, and until 6pm only), Turtle Jack's - though a bit pricier, but serving size was big, and food tasted nice - I think I had the best chicken sandwich here, despite being tired of eating chicken for the past 2 weeks. Also the welcome cookie - Doubletree Cookie - was so nice! Freshly baked, chocolate chip cookies which I'm craving now.

Not sure if because it's an airport hotel (which are meant for one night stays for transfer flights), but the room had limited space for luggage. The 2 queen bed room might only fit luggage of 2 people travelling internationally, with lots of stuff packed - might not be an issue for light packers. No complimentary slippers. The slippers I packed were already worn out during the 2week stay in Canada and wanted to wear a new one on our 1-night layover at Toronto, but there were none in the room, though I already did not bother to ask for one if they had one.

Excellent Customer Service delivery. Joy at the reception was very nice to us. We informed her that our luggage was missed out on our flight & yet to arrive. She was quite empathetic and gave us some everyday essentials like toothbrush et al, which was quite a welcome touch.

Our room was next to the emergency exit, and there was always some noise whenever the door was being used by housekeeping. There were times when it felt like the door to our room was being opened, which was a bit scary.

We stayed at the Doubletree by Pearson Airport due to its location and price. Overall, we loved staying here as the room was clean, comfortable and had a great view of the airport!

We relied heavily on the hotel shuttle bus that the hotel provides to get us to and from the airport. Unfortunately, we found the bus wouldn’t leave at it’s scheduled time (early) so in turn we missed it 2 out of 3 times. Luckily at one point the concierge was helpful enough to ask the driver to come back, however when the driver did come back he was rude and complained we should have been waiting for him 5mins early, we had not been made aware of this. To add, coming back from the airport to the hotel we would wait 20mins at the terminal as it wasn’t clear what times the drivers would pick us up. All we knew from the hotel is that they come every 30mins, we wish the timings were clearer. In general, we are still glad Doubletree offers this service.

Check in was simple with attentive knowledgeable friendly staff. Super comfortable beds, crisp clean linen, soft towels and the usual bathroom needs included made up our room amenities. Starbucks on site was awesome. Used the free airport shuttle to get to terminal 1 - Very clean and efficient service. Breakfast buffet was hearty with a wide range of continental and cooked breakfast items which were replenished quickly by the chefs.

While in the middle of enjoying our breakfast we were approached by male staff member demanding our breakfast voucher (which we had already shown at the door). Happily provided again- then tells me he doesn't want it and walked away. He came back 10 minutes later asking for voucher to be placed on table which we did - then promptly tells us the voucher covers the food items and not the "tip". This occured two more times (while removing plates) telling us to read the fine print and to remember to leave a tip Seriously...so unprofessional and rude. Let people finish their breakfast in peace and stop the badgering.

Incredibly clean, super comfortable beds, prompt responses from friendly staff, surprisingly nice pool and jacuzzi that is open late.

The food from room service was only okay, in fact some of it was not really good at all and it was pretty pricy. But I liked that it was open early and late! Renting an old movie on TV cost $25, water bottles in the room cost $2.50 and parking was pretty expensive for an open lot in an area such as it was. But I appreciated that my car felt safe there.

Facilities like the pool was great to have. enjoyed the jacuzzi. A cookie was given at our check-in. good selection for the breakfast. Comfy room and clean bathroom. Glad for the mini fridge during our stay to keep our drinks cold. Nice room staff that exchanged our wet pool towels for clean new ones(because no side pool towels were available).

parking gate sometimes didn’t read properly on the side gate. we needed to go to the other one in order to get out sometimes and sadly cause a line of cars to move. Tv cabinet versus safe door inconvenience when opening to get the drink/coffee tray. the safe door would open then get stuck against the cabinet.

I stayed here for one night when I was in town for a conference nearby. When I checked in I was given fresh, warm cookies! That was unexpected and really welcoming. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and large. The TV was fine - regular cable, payperview. Nothing special there. I was really only there to sleep, so I didn't bother using the WiFi. The bathroom was clean, modern and functional. I appreciated the lit, magnified make-up mirror when getting ready in the morning. The hotel was conveniently located and very easy to get to and from via the 401/427 highways.

I did find the hotel rather pricy (over $300 after taxes and fees + additional fees for parking), but I know that's expected near the airport and given current inflation on everything. Luckily work was paying. That said, the room and hotel facilities were very nice. Definitely a "luxury" feeling to furnishings, bedding, common areas, etc. So not terrible value for the money. I would have liked more options in the room, such as a smart TV with better access to streaming services, or more creamer/coffee fixings than what was provided. Only enough was provided for one cup of coffee really.
