Tofino Motel Harborview

Spectacular Location, charmig view, cute staff, thoughtful kitchenette with supplies and good quality coffee maker, two chairs on balcony (not one), excellent cleaners, great smelling body wash(lemongrass), comfy beds, good wifi, good coffee and cream thoughtfully put in fridge, corkscrew. No ugly art, cool retro wall clock. Quiet at night.I loved this place.

The blue washcloths had dye coming off of them when rinsed.There was a dispensed in the shower that said "poo" I think it was shampoo but I didn't risk it. These were the only time things. I loved this hotel so much!!

The view of the inlet was fantastic and we really enjoyed being able to sit on the balcony overlooking the beautiful garden and the water, which we could also see from the beds. The beds were super comfortable and generally it was really quiet. Plenty of parking and a stone's throw from the town's many shops, cafe's and restaurants, so location is excellent.

The hair dryer was very weak so if you have a lot of hair like me, either take your own or allow lots of time to dry your hair. There was no wardrobe or designated hanging space. The owners kindly gave me some hangers so I could hang my clothes but the only place to hang garments covered the mirror. Not awful, but not convenient. I got the impression most guests stay for shorter stays than we did and if this was the case, it probably wouldn't matter. We stayed for 7 nights.

It was a clean room with a nice view. The toilet was running and when we mentioned it to the cleaner it was fixed upon our return. That was greatly appreciated.

I had to used booking.com to book the room and had to upgrade through the app as I had a pet, which was to include a view and some other features, which I don't think really applied. After all that when the booking was confirmed booking.com then added another charge for the dog. I was not impressed with booking.com and would have preferred to go direct to the hotel. 10pm was quiet time, and the room above us made significant noise well past that time. As the lobby is not monitored late at night there was no one to speak to about the noise.

Prices for rooms in the Tofino area are obscene in general, but the view from this room definitely took the edge off of things! The staff was lovely, attentive and helpful. The location is excellent- could walk all around Tofino easily. The place is spotless, quiet and comfortable. We were thoroughly happy with our stay here. So glad we stayed the night in Tofino vs. driving inland for cheaper accommodations close to mainland ferry. The sunset was gorgeous and our pastries from the Tofitian Cafe in the morning were so yummy! A great experience all around.

The bonus question above was difficult because the accommodations far exceeded the expectation for the price we paid. The dog mat, dog towel, dog bowl and dog treats were a great touch. It was close to shops, restaurants, walking trail. The view was amazing, the beds were comfortable, the linen was nice, the bathroom was new and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The kettle, coffee maker, microwave and fridge were an added bonus. We will highly recommend this place to friends and family.

There was nothing about the hotel that we didn’t like. The highway to get to Tofino will be nice when it’s finished. The weather was even nice when we were there.

I liked how the room was renovated, comfortable beds, nice sized mini fridge with freezer. Lots of thoughtful additions such as kettle, microwave and two bowls with spoons. Water pressure was good. Nice tv. Staff are very nice. Rooms well stocked with supplies, and if you run out the front desk staff will supply more.

We were on the lower floor and could hear the ppl above walking around. Could also hear anyone using the stairs. The guy beside us smoked a lot on his balcony, so we had to keep closing our window at night every-time he came out. My husband couldn’t have a shower one morning because there was no hot water, so maybe try and have an evening shower instead.

The room was ready ahead of check-in time. It was very clean and comfortable, with two beds. It was great to have a view of the Tofino harbour and a small balcony. There was a fridge, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker, which was very convenient. Check-in and check out was quick and the staff were friendly. The location was near downtown, quiet and very convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

It was great to have the little kitchen area but it was in what used to be a closet, so there was no place to hang coats or clothes other than a couple of hooks.

Well kept hotel in quiet area. Rooms were very nicely appointed and clean. Beds were comfortable. Coffee service in room was excellent. TV cable was interesting. Nice small view of marina and landscaped grounds.

The price of the hotel was in line with other prices around Tofino. Sadly, Tofino only caters to people who can afford to throw money out the window of their SVU's while rocketing between beaches full of off leash dogs. After decades of using Tofino as base, we will no longer be returning here. The prices have become affordable.

Loved this spacious room with its amazing view, balcony, floor to ceiling windows. Two large comfortable beds, a useful guest folder containing lots of useful local information, well equipped kitchenette area with coffee machine, microwave and fridge and a spacious bathroom. Located within walking distance of everything in Tofino. Friendly staff

View exceptional. Located just on the edge of town and very convenient. Facilities provided generally good. Very clean and comfortable beds. Generously offered loan of beach towels but they were a bit small!

Aforementioned towels. Some noise from fellow guests bathroom fans at night but not really down to the hosts.
