Lakeview Motel

-Very friendly, helpful owners -it’s kept very clean -good value for money for the area -kitchen with a larger sized fridge and an oven is very useful on -loved the gazebo area with bbq and chairs for everyone to enjoy -beach towels are a very nice touch! I would definitely recommend a room here for a short or longer stay!

-smart tv kept losing its connection to the internet and dropping the program we were watching. -public access to the swimmable part of the lake is further than the 5min walk that’s advertised (more like 20min), at least as far as we could find. - no air conditioning in the bedroom…you don’t necessarily need it, but a fan would be nice at a minimum. The bed in the living room was comfortable, but the one in the bedroom was not comfortable at all. - a frying pan in the kitchen would be very useful

The Lakeview motel is a classic. We used to come here when my grandparents stayed (+20 years ago). Tara and Jason have done a wonderful job upgrading everything for a more modern stay. I love the gazebo area, the neighbors were quiet and friendly (I hope to see them again next year). My family has a permanent site at a campsite down the road but I thought it was easier to stay here with all the amenities with a baby. A full kitchen unit was very handy!

Recent renovations have this property looking fresh! Very clean. Central location. Staff was amazing. My extended family was staying at another place in town, and their 5 yr old got sick - no thermometer at their place… no access to walk-in clinics… we came back to here, and not only were we able to check her temperature at the front office, the little one and her 2 cousins come back with freezies! My extended family left their booked stay elsewhere and came here for the last night to join us.

Great location across from Christina Lake. Convenient to have a microwave in the room. I enjoyed the gazebo area in the evening and the small table and chair outside my door for my morning coffee. It was surprisingly quiet and I slept amazingly well. The room was very clean and the complimentary toiletries was a nice touch.

Was exceptionally clear. Recently renovated, nothing fancy but nice and clean and comfortable. Black out curtains, and a smart TV with coffee for the morning. Great value for price and much cleaner than many much higher end hotels that I’ve stayed at.

It was great, I think they did a great job and host was very hospitable.

This was exactly what our group of 5 needed, we probably could have went a size up for the room but we managed well. It's within walking distance of everything you need. It was quiet, clean and a great place in general. It was nice to relax and enjoy our stay! We will definitely be back.

The owners are lovely. Helpful, friendly, and accommodating. It’s our second time this summer and they know us by name. Every request is answered quickly. The staff are hard working and friendly. My favourite place in the world. The rooms ( ours with kitchen) are new, spotless and very clean. Beautiful outdoor area with a fire pit, comfortable and colourful chairs, a bbq and recycle bins that are clean and maintained. The grassy areas are bright green, manicured and wonderful to sit on. The motel itself is painted and fresh looking. Little chairs and table outside every room. It’s quiet despite the highway. Very peaceful. We extended our stay for another three days. I don’t want to go home 😊🌈

The motel has been completely redone with new bathrooms, flooring to curtains. Everything is fresh and well appointed. The woman who greeted us could not have been nicer and went that extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed.

No complaints. Everything was lovely.

Great location, close to a grocery store (which sells alcohol) and not far from some basic restaurants. Lake isn't far either. Lots of parking available, so could easily accommodate a towed boat for example. Fire pit and a BBQ for guest use as well.

Beds were firmer than is my liking, but I still slept quite well. Appearance is a little dated.

This was above and beyond my expectations Walking in the door and I was in awe at how clean it was - from the appliances to the presentation of towels and pillows / new curtains / looked like it was freshly painted! Perfection and detail oriented owners
