Hotel Atlanta

The location was very good, close enough to the old town and museums.The room was big and clean and the breakfast was very good too. I really need to mention here that the wi-fi connection was very good. I really don't know why so many people complained about it, but we really didn't have problems with this!? Even outside, in front of the hotel, we had a very good connection.

We would like to be able to make a coffee or a tea in our room early in the morning. II think you should improve this in the future.:)

Very comfortable hotel. Great location near the centre. The hotel is little bit dated but the rooms are spacious and warm. We appreciated the original architecture of the building which is often more pleasing than some modern hotel without any character. We had great night sleep. We stayed here during our Christmas break in Vienna. The hotel was walking distance to one of the main Christmas markets with ice skating etc. Not far from Hofburg either. We walked everywhere. The main train station is in easy reach by public transport. There are quite few cafes and restaurants nearby, which we tried. All very good experience. Overall great hotel for any well travelled family.

Room was very clean and quite big. Location is very good - tram stop in front of the door. Only 10 minutes by foot to the hop on hop off stop and food store. Many bars and places to eat only few minutes by foot.

The street was very noisi, it was difficult to sleep at night even when the windows were closed. Tram line in front of the hotel and 24/7 ambulance sirens.

The location is great, only around 30 minutes on foot to the St. Stephan's cathedral. Breakfast was really great, friendly breakfast serving personnel. Underground parking is 5 minutes on foot, but you can drop out the bags comfortably by the hotel. Vintage interior ads a special cultural flavour, knowing you're staying in Vienna. The price is really great compared to other similar hotels.

No air conditioning, only a fan, and we happened to be there during the heat waves. Windows to a noisy street (not a problem if you keep your windows closed, but since there is no air conditioning, you have to choose - the noise or the heat :)

Brilliant property in a safe location within walking distance from the city centre. Very clean facilities and comfortable well-equipped apartments.

There is no lift to the apartments so expect to haul your luggage upstairs!

The location was excellent with walking distance to many touristic places. The hotel is located close to the university and the public transportation is a plus. The room was dated but charming and clean, comfortable mattress and a wonderful breakfast!

The WiFi was really slow! We would give it a 10 if it wasn't by the very slow Wi-Fi.

The room was big. More than enough for three of us. We stayed 3 nights. They didn't change the linens but I don't complain about it. I just have to mention. It was clean anyway. Same for the towels. No big deal. We don't change them everyday at home, so we don't have that sort of expectation. A historical building with some basic old furnitures. I loved the look of it. There's no AC but there were two big fans. Staff was OK. Nobody was rude but some greet, some didn't. A lady named Ivanka was smiling whenever we come across. Jahan from Pakistan at the front desk was the friendliest person we met there. Others were not rude, they were just doing their job.

A kettle and couple of teabag might put a smile on guest’s faces. If not teabags, at least a kettle, so we can bring our own teabags. Double bed was two single beds side by side. It was looking like double bed but right in the middle, there’s a wooden border of each bed which makes it really uncomfortable. So everyone slept on their side, no cuddling. Since there’s no AC which you don’t need in Vienna most of the times but when it gets hot inside, you need to open the windows. Then there comes trouble. There’s too much noise outside. Too many cars and trams passing by. These were the downsides but we managed.

We loved the interior of the hotel. The old feel it provides is magnificent. The old furniture, the huge double door of our room and the old elevator in the middle of the grand staircase take you back in time. The old elevator is not in use anymore and the new modern one is great. The grand piano in the entrance of the breakfast area is a nice touch. The heating was always on, which made the room very comfortable. Very friendly staff at the reception and the breakfast.

At breakfast we asked for iced coffee and they didn't have. We asked for ice cubes to put in our hot coffee and they said they didn't have. That was the only "problem" we faced. Other than that very minor detail, it was an excellent stay!!

The room was very nice and the location was perfect.

The afternoom reception staff was very rude to me.

I really liked the hotel. It was the last minute booking for me (as i mixed up travel dates), and I was pleasantly surprised that all the payment and everything were processed properly and there were no issues upon check in. A really good location (about 25 min slow walk to the old town area), on a quiet street. Room was quite spacious. It was clean. Breakfast is a buffet - quite a standard one - cereals, yogurts, cheese, fruit, vegetables, sausages, eggs (and much more) - that said, enough for an average person to choose from. Staff is super friendly. I'm very happy with my stay. I had two nights only (traveled to attend a music show).
