Aviano Boutiquehotel

We stayed in a double room on the 3rd floor. The room was OK for 2 nights, with a small fridge (a minibar size). Everything was clean. The bed was a little bit soft for us but we prefer harder mattrasses, so for someone else it could be comfortable. There were good lamps on the night tables and together with a chandelier the light was very good in the room. We found enough el. sockets, which is handy. The reception is open 24h and the staff was very nice. We coud leave our luggage in a locked room on the departure day, which gave us extra time to go to the city. The hotel is located in the very center of Vienna, just 5 - 10 min walk from the main sightseeings, plus a metro station. It is on a very lively pedestrian shopping zone, which is great when you come for shopping to Vienna and not so great if you seek quiet (the street was crowded). At warm or hot nights it must be difficult to sleep with open windows because there was lot of noise from the street ( there are bars and restaurants all around). It is a compromise for staying in the very center. On the other hand, you do not need to have the hotel breakfast and can choose from many fantastic cafes that are nearby (our choice). We had a nice weekend stay.

We had absolutely no wifi connection in the room (connected without internet). We missed a tea kettle and cups, it would be nice to have a possibility to make a tea in the room.

Location is very central: 3 minnutes to Stephanplat, right on the shopping street and 30 meters from an underground parking (39 eur/day). Very, very clean, austrian typical cleanliness. Staff was very nice and helpfull. They let us have coffee at breakfeast for free - we did not want the full breakfeast.

Rooms are a little bit outdated, but nothing bad, just a little romantic feeling. The room doors are not soundproof at all, people were coming at late hours on the hallway and kept waking us.

Empty minibar and it doensn t work. After that they solved the problem noisy outside Old bathroom. The bathroom is very strange located in the room. It looks like a container from the outside. Old furnitured No airconditioning. But it s not very hot inside. Not as clean as i wanted to be, especially if you are travelling with kids.

The location couldn't be better for central Vienna. The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved my room and the fact that they had an elevator. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of choices. I was able to stow my bag until evening in a locked room after I had checked out which was very helpful. There is a great little bar next door that played awesome music and I felt very comfortable having a glass of wine there even though I was traveling alone. I would have loved to have stayed longer.

I liked everything about it so no disappointments.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Excellent location. 300 metres from the Cathedral. It is indeed a boutique hotel. Our room was 3 times the size of your average hotel room. Tastefully decorated and furnished, very clean, well presented with a very large comfortable bed. Staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. Fresh continental breakfast not to be missed. It does not get any better than this for the price.

The only thing worth mention is that internet mapping systems will take you to its exact location but like many hotels in Vienna it occupies the upper floors of one of the magnificent buildings in the City. The entrance is therefore not immediately obvious but is well worth the extra few minutes it took to find it. You will not be disappointed.

I had asked the hotel if I could have event tickets posted there, instead of having to pay an extortionate delivery fee to the UK. They said yes, no problem ! I was very grateful and all the staff were lovely throughout my stay. The location is perfect, right in the city centre, and if I was ever to visit Vienna again, I would stay here :)

Great place to stay! Very central location, but since it is just off the main shopping street, quite quiet at night. I had a very comfortable and clean room and the staff were very helpful and kind. I stayed alone there and felt completely safe and welcomed. Highly recommended. Good breakfast too. Also so many restaurants and shops nearby, including a supermarket.

Central quiet hotel in the middle of the pedestrian area of Vienna. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice room, with Louis XV style furniture. Glad to have an armchair and a sofa to stay, not only a bed, as many hotels have these days. Independency and close to everything!

The elevator is slow, but this is a minor setback. One can go downstairs by foot, but might get a bit dizzy, as besides the numbered floors, there are 2 mezzanins, so a lot going around...

The best location within few steps from Stephan's Dome, really charming rooms with the old-Vienna-like feeling. Comfortable bed and beautiful views.

If there was a coffee machine in the room, it'd be a perfection :)

Location is excellent, the best, very centre but not on one of the noisy streets. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room spacious and clean, beds comfortable.

The hotel is in need of renovation. It is so campy, with crystal chandeliers, false canopy, tablecloth covering delapidated furniture. I found it totally amusing.
