Excellent location, huge room and a comfortable bed for a good price, can’t be beaten in Cottesloe, to be honest. Loved my stay here. I found it quiet despite what other reviews mentioned. The beach is just across the street and the main Cottesloe beach with a shark net is a 3 minutes’ walk. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel which will take you to the Cottesloe station if you don’t have a car and fancy using public transport.

Well, it’s true it was not the cleanest, especially the windows were filthy but the view was not the greatest, anyway, so I didn’t terribly mind ;))

Really enjoyed my stay at OBH. The location is amazing - right across the road from the beach. The hotel is well loved but found my room to be comfortable, incredibly spacious and absolutely worth the price you pay. There were no noise issues. Staff were all lovely and helpful, also allowed my sister to stay without extra charge. Will most definitely stay here again when in Perth.

The lift is old and a little clunky but to be expected in such an old building. It's serviced & works. You also have stairs as an option if you dont like taking the lift.

The staff at reception were super helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, spotless and the bed was so comfortable. And very impressed with the ground coffee option along with the teas in the room. The CBlu restaurant offers delicious breakfasts and again, good coffee. I hope that in future plans for the area, the hotel is kept. It just needs a bit of a refurbishment. It is, nonetheless, a gem to be treasured.

The location is fantastic - seafacing the beach and busstop right in front. I have the seaview from my windows. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They recommended which tourist areas to visit eg Mandurah and how I can navigate about. The bed is so comfortable it felt great after a long day of travelling. The instant coffee is nice and there is even fresh ground coffee and hot chocolate free in the room. I will definitely stay again.

The table could do with a touchup. But no big issue.

Great location, directly across from the beach. Clean bathroom and linen. Good supply of coffee and tea and also milk in the fridge. Kitchenette was good. Huge huge room with separate table and tv area.. and I mean huge lol. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. parking on site was very helpful. Having a restaurant and br next door is great. there is also a Thai restaurant and bottle shop around the corner.. a few minutes walk.

pillows were a little flimsy. bed was comfy but moved a lot with any movement.

We stayed in the room because of a family celebration in one of the dining rooms of the adjacent hotel for the convenience offered. The facility's although not fancy were clean and comfortable and for a short duration stay were very acceptable, the staff we had contact with were also very friendly and carried out their duties to a very high standard, we also appreciated the excellent hot water and shower facility's, the scenery of the location was just a bonus ! All in all, we were completely happy with our short stay and will recommend the hotel to any of our contacts that may be of need of accommodation in your area. We enjoyed the experience, but if I had to criticise anything maybe a little "spruce up" of the rooms is about all I could offer. They are quite acceptable but some of the paint and window fittings could use a "little" work, other than that no criticism at all.

Perfect location. Right across the road from the beach. Eateries near by. Large room with comfortable bed. Staff, particularly the lady who checked me out, were very nice and helpful. I had a view of the ocean which was lovely. Large bathroom. Shower had plenty of hot water. Complimentary toiletries. Room serviced daily.

Rooms not soundproof. You could hear noise in the corridors and doors closing. It didn't bother me when sleeping as I used ear plugs. Shower had a good flow but the water was spraying. Consequently, the floor got quite wet.

I really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Beach Hotel because it was right across the road from the beach which was very important in the heat. Additionally there was a bus stop directly outside that made it easy to get to the train station and explore the city. The staff for very accomodating and friendly.

The TV selection could have been improved, ie chrome cast so that anything can be watched on the TV. The bathroom floor could have been cleaner.

Location is great, the beach is just 200 m away, just crossing the street. There are also some restaurants and cafes on walking distance. There are 2 train stations nearby around 1 km, with trains departing to Perth or Freemantle every 15 min. Specially good if the room is facing to the beach.

Furniture is a bit old, however the price was suitable.

Great location, Friendly staff who were understanding of my Tourette Syndrome medical disability, easy access to everything around especially the world class Cott beach, Spa room is the best. and such good views. Loved it.

A Neighbouring room complained about the petty tv noise & my Tourettes Twitches while The FIFA World Cup was tv late at night!! thats not the propertys fault but. Staff were very caring and considerate when i explained my situation. :)
